This was my point earlier. If the NCAA doesn't make UL get rid of Pitino (which I don't think they will do), Jurich won't do it. Jurich knows that Pitino likely knows how dirty that entire Athletic Department, and the University they run (yes, the AD runs that Univ), is. Jurich will keep Pitino, convince the locals McGee was a rogue employee, and that all is well. It's pathetic that he has that kind of power in this city but he does. Any University with an ounce of respect would fire both Pitino and Jurich (and would have never hired Petrino), but I'm afraid Pres Ramsey and the board of trustees don't have the power to get rid of Jurich. He could spill the beans on all the behind-the-scenes these people are getting rich off of.

Strippers and hookers for current players are serious accusations, but doing this for underage recruits brings it to another level. Did wire transfers cross state lines to pay for the dancing and sex with the hookers/strippers for 17 year old recruits? If so, the Fed's will get involved.
It's horrible to see kids exploited for their talents, but it's UL, so nothing surprises me anymore.

I sincerely feel for Powell's daughters being brought up in that lifestyle, you have to empathize for them. And how much lumpier can Tom Jurich's rug get before he's on the stove.

That's the thing, this whole UL hooker thing causes all the old Pitino/Petrino baggage come clanging back in and puts sharply into focus how Jurich's horrible decisions have destroyed UL as a respectable university. This is bigger than sports and I guarantee this sweeps Pitino and Jurich out the door. This is too unseemly and it is going to cause folks up there to look hard at themselves and they are not going to like what they see. Once they fully realize how utterly disgusting people see this mess as, they will do anything to rid themselves of it.
