This scandal is different. Every other coach in the NCAA who has had his team get hit for sex to athletes scandals have lost their jobs. Its a much worse problem than just academics...... its also illegal.

And, as usual, ESPN fudges on the facts. Their infographic on the scandal mentioned strippers but nothing about hookers or sex being exchanged for money!

Funny how some programs get the benefit of the doubt and others are slammed with innuendo when there is no proof!

I feel bad for Ricky Pee...

Why does Rick Pitino like white outs?

To hide the stains!

Thank you!

UL only has 7 games left. Even amidst all that is going on, probably easier to just have him coach the year out instead of dropping someone else in there.

I'm curious to see if/how long it will take for Pitino to start lobbing insults UL's way. Sanctimonious bastard is likely to throw the whole university under the bus unless they write him a very large going away check and stipulate he just shuts up and goes away.
They haven't been able to shut him up yet,at what point do you think that changes?

I bet Pitino was made aware of it sometime in 2012 or 13 by security or someone in the facility, and he swept it under the rug, because he knew those players would be ruled ineligible if he took it to the NCAA. He knew he had the makings of a title team in 13, and if those players were ruled ineligible, they had no shot. It's the same reason he waited to kick Behanan off the team until after the UK game. As the head coach, you can't tell me he didn't at least hear some rumblings of this going on sometime in that 4 year period

Of course he knew!

so has a championship banner ever been vacated?
edit: googled and never in BBall and only USC in football.
A lot of track and field tho which makes sense with all the steroid use back in the 89's and 90's

It's like having an opinion on heads or tails when you flip a coin. There's no firm answer with the NCAA.

From some people I know in Louisville who probably aren't connected, I hear the same thing.

They say the University and Pitino have already agreed to split ways after this season. Apparently he will not be doing any more recruiting either.

I went to a bachelor party at a strip club (not Minardi Hall) in Louisville years ago. The headliner girl came out, did a striptease and then sat naked in a giant wine glass shaped pool filled with bubble bath and water. She then proceeded to stand up and squirt the audience members up to 10 feet away. She could somehow hoover up the water with her ***. and then keep squirting at the audience. I have never seen anything like it. It was like a stripper superpower.

Man, that sounds like the kinda girl you marry.... Ya'll were very lucky to see that.

Out of curiosity, is there physics behind squirting. Do you reckon that the same stripper could've squirted on the ceiling while lying on her back?

This is nothing new. No one has to have any inside information or anything to state that Pitino will be gone at years end. I doubt these folks are "connected".

Gotta be a secret audio recording of some of this. Lewd pics? Video? Something that will absolutely blow the lid off. She's the type.

I think the only question left is how much money if any he takes from remaining contract and fits he coach somewhere else.

It's possible but I would think if that were the case we would have heard rumblings of such by now, unless the NCAA already has them:sunglasses:

She was able to fire a stream from all kinds of positions including her back. I imagine that she could be a kagel olympian if there was such a thing. Its all about muscle contraction and control.

I dont get why UL and its fans are trying to say this team doesn't deserve a ban because of Lewis and Lee being innocent....

What about Snider? Mathiang? Johnson? Onuaku?? those guys were recruited at the same time of Lyle. and If he paid for Blakeney last year.... what about the freshmen in this class?

I doubt it comes down, but it's got a better chance of coming down than any banner has. The scandal is just so salacious. It's seedy. The NCAA will want to punish them harshly for tarnishing the reputation of college athletics…whether that equates to the banner coming down is hard to predict.

Moreover, the NCAA is under attack (from players, fans, disgruntled coaches, and commentators…especially Bilas). That could make it less likely that the banner comes down, as they won't want their rulings to seem inconsistent or arbitrary. Or, it could make it more likely that it comes down because they want to give the impression of being in control. As @Deli owl says, flip a coin.

UL already admitted guilt with the self-ban. They'll fire pitino once the season is over to attempt to appease the NCAA further. To be fired under these circumstances they won't have to pay pitino anything and that's probably got something to do with the statements about fining coaches part of their salary for violations. Pitino hoping to save his job by sacrificing some of his pay. Ain't happening, UL saves a lot of $$ by getting rid of him.
