The crap that is going on. Typical SuCkS mantra "out of control at UofL "

Ever since Jurich and Pitino stepped on campus, SuCkS fans have their knickers
in a bunch.

We all know we whats going on with the uptick in recruiting over at lexington u.
Yet there isnt any UofL insiders over there.

There isnt a radio host in Lexington who claims to be a UofL fan, yet spends
half his time obsessed with the cayuts.

Yes there are jealous academians at UofL, jealous that the athletic department gets
most of the pub. So they cry wolf at every little thing athletes do.

Everyone is human in this. They make mistakes. One thing you and the rest of the blew necks can be rest
assured of. UofL is as corrupt as uofk is............If uofk is clean, so is UofL. The Cards arent signing six five
stars a year.

2 KerryRhodes,

I don't see anything wrong with that. They aren't signing many five stars. The ones they do stay for four years.

KerryRhodes, stop it. You are not a decent human being. Stop getting wasted on Crown N meth every night and move out of your stepmother's basement. Stop banging 2bit whores from across the street. Learn to read, get a job, and GET REAL.

There's only one disgraceful University in this state, and its Louisville.

It's high comedy over there. A few great ones. Zipp, Kerry, and a few others I'm blanking on. It'd be funny if people just posted their favorite post from there in 1 thread. Really hard to sort the real people from the trolls.

Is there anyway that anyone who is good with a computer to make the Louisville equivalent of this? Please throw Katina in there with Jurich, Mcgee, & Pitino. I wasn't sure if anyone has done this or not, haven't seen it.

Morons they are on the card board.[roll] The idiots say Katrina drives an expensive SUV & it needs to be traced & would probably lead to a UK supporter. [roll] Well they have a pic. of it & traced it & guess where it goes[cheers] Older model maybe worth 10 grand, bought from a used car dealer that is no longer in business & is a Louisville supporter.[banana]

Anyone catch this line???

Pitino has a decade left on his contract. There are provisions that protect him from wrongdoing by his staff, so long as he is not found to have known about it. I wrote about those in this column on Wednesday.

Here is the link to that article:
http://www.wdrb.com/story/31192335/...-faq-jurich-and-usc-pitino-lee-and-lewis-more

It basically states that written into Pitino's contract is a clause saying that he can't automatically be fired if someone else within the program is acting illegally without his knowledge! Maybe that's standard protocol, but it seems fishy to me! When was his contract re-written, I wonder? And is it just a happy coincidence?

Ok…so I found Cal's contract here:
https://kty-platform-secure-prod.silverchalice.co/v3/files/55aeee9fe4b05936b846d6fd

Guess what? I can't find any language that says he isn't responsible if a staff member does something illegal/breaks NCAA rules.

Sections 7.b.i-xii outline what "cause" for termination is. It's all the usual stuff…don't break the law, don't break the rules, etc.

It's the two paragraphs after that are interesting (on page 14). They say almost exactly the opposite of what Pitino's agreement says. Cal's contract explicitly says that if he is overseeing assistants who engage in Major Violations and he either knew, or should have known, then that is cause for termination. Absolutely no "get out of jail free card" for Cal.

Very telling.

Why does the NCAA drag their feet on Uvel and UNC? I know they supposedly want to complete their investigations to ensure they uncover everything (hah) but why not levy some punishment as soon as the violation is found and then continue to dig if desired? I have a hard time understanding Louisville still playing basketball this year and everyone still has a job.

I'm not putting addresses on here but there is only one person named that, that owns property in Louisville. jcsoky.org/ptax_search.htm

Check out the google satellite view of that property.

Tax assessed at $45k is all you need to know

So Pitino's contract says he is not responsible if any of his staff or players get caught cheating or breaking rule, probably the only Coach in the NCAA with a contract like that and proof in my eyes that the Slimy ,Lying,Weasel knew all the Illegal Behavior was going on,hell who wouldn't cheat if they had a plausible deniability act covering their *** nomatter what went on?

SQUIRTino sounds like a broken man ..the arrogance is a sham..He has to know that Ramsey is getting ready to spring the tap door..The NCAA penalties will be much worse than this one season ban..Ole SCUMTino has put a stain on a slimy program that Lysol couldn't get out..uavel basketball will be handcuffed for years with the problems he has brought them..It really couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of Goobers..That had Ricky by the ballz with Sypher and Turtleneck let him off the hook..He violated the morals clause and they would have owed him nothing..but look at the crap they are facing now..L1C4..right...I cannot stop laughing..[laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing]

All comprehensive investigations require time to complete. Witnesses must be found and interviewed. Documents must be thoroughly reviewed. Attorneys and detectives must discuss their findings and conclusions with the NCAA committee. The school must respond, and its response must be evaluated. In the Louisville case, a criminal Grand Jury investigation is underway. The committee has a list of ongoing investigations. This may seem simple to people who already know what they want the NCAA committee to decide, but it isn't. We may or may not like the final decision, but the committee has more information than we have. I am not saying these decisions aren't politically influenced at times. Politics influences everything in the world. But the length of time it takes to do this job is not surprising, and not tilted to help the target of the investigation. In this case, Louisville is in a hell of a lot of trouble. We know this because President Ramsey just held a press conference to announce self-imposed sanctions. This probably means he is trying to save his own skin. But the NCAA won't rule until after the Grand Jury has investigated and indicted. Similarly, the length of the UNC investigation suggests there is a lot of evidence for the committee to corroborate and evaluate. It is certainly not a favor to the target of the investigation. The length of the investigation has devastated Roy Williams' recruiting. They are good this year, but there will be a big drop off. That's why UNC isn't self-sanctioning.
