This will not hurt recruiting. First of all, this lady is crazy and everyone is denying it. Plus, you don't think this happens at every single school in the country? It will not effect recruiting because you see this everywhere. Sorry, guys but you are proclaiming the death of UofL again and it just ain't going to happen.

You got your work cut out for you.[roll]

Really? With all the negative recruiting going on today you don't believe this will have a negative impact? I mean you are sex scandal U and there is ample evidence to support this. I understand having tinted glasses but come on Helen Keller could see this clearly.
No, I don't believe it will have a negative impact. You people said the same thing about Rick's issue in the past. That didn't hurt recruiting, neither will this. Sorry but recruits and their parents can see through two nut jobs trying to make up crap and see the real UofL and all that they get out of playing for Rick Pitino.

obviously it didn't have an impact last time because you kept recruiting up by getting the recruits d*cks wet. God do you not read? Oh sorry, UL fan, of course you can't

You just keep on believing that. This is really going to hurt UL in recruiting.

So you're telling me you have been killing it in recruiting? It would seem to me that you all whiff on all top talent, I would venture to say we were right.

I would also like to ask what value there is for playing for Pitino? Who's draft status has he helped? What 5 star talent has even done anything with or have they all been a bust?

Rick and Jurich have Pavloved their fan base. Petjurino is an example. Study him, so that we can work together to stop this horrible abuse of a fan base.

I don't think that the Commonwealth Atty makes it a practice of getting involved in basically local petty crime. This is a matter...maybe....for UofL police to investigate since this was happening on campus. And until someone goes down to the ULPD to take out a criminal complaint...its just a book. And further...Jurich-Pitino etal have NO desire to take this into the courts....UNLESS they can 100% debunk her story. If not....do they realllly want to drag coaches and players and recruits and their fathers in to be deposed. Heeeeellll no.

Does anyone think Magee came up with this scheme all by himself? Or, is it more likely that the same services were provided for him when he was being recruited by U of L? You know, before the Sypher scandal.

The ugly story that isn't being discussed right now...and Matt Jones didn't want to go deeper....is the reason Katina got pissed is that they started asking for "white women." That was the straw that broke her back. She and her daughters were now not good enough....

Well the timing is right when we hired Calipari. Pitino then hired the kid who played for him, and made him his puppet. He knew he couldn't beat Cal head-to-head at recruiting, so he told this guy to do what he did. I mean the book keeps talking about how he was under a lot of pressure to recruit the best of the best, but obviously he still couldn't out recruit Cal even with sex and drugs.

The legal theory I havent seen posters look at yet in this thread: Defamation.

UL knew about it since August. Noone has sued for defamation. Very telling.

The book is either true, or UL certainly thinks its true.
Louisville doesn't want to sue anyone. Then they have to testify and it opens the doors for investigation and between the audit of the presidents benefits and the conflict of interest on the Yum Center lease their lawyers have enough going on.

Petjurino sounds like a less psychopathic version of Zipp. Could be one of his alternate personalities.

Highly doubtful Pitino knew of the "pay for play." However, if this proves to be true he should be held accountable. It will be interesting to watch this unfold.
