I'd be checking on your UofL fans right about now, and make sure none of them are near a bridge.

Guys, this is mostly me paraphrasing, and I tried to get as much of it as I could. I tried to quote where I could, but they were moving fast. Enjoy

MJ - how did you end up doing this book?

Cady - When Powell showed up at the IBJ with her bag full of journals, they decided it was worth looking into, and they sought someone with the experience to do it, so my name came up.

MJ - when you first met with her, how long did it take to determine if the story was credible

Cady - when i firs tmet with her, I had already read her journals twice, so I felt there was something to it.

MJ - Are you 100% sure her story is true

Cady - I'm a 100% sure in my mind. It is accurate.

MJ - What are the things that aren't in the book?

Cady - I'm not sure what she's talking about, or anyone else. The book had limited scope, but we did leave some of the journal entries out. All the text messages that we had access to are in there, but said he believes there's text messages from other phones (McGee's) that do exist.

Cady - Every bit of info that confirms what's in the book is important (referencing JaQuan Lyle statements that the story is true).

MJ - What did you do to ensure that, that was in fact Andre McGee's phone #?

Cady - IBJ hired forensic analyst to go through and examine every phone # and date, and they turned over a rather lengthy report revealing some very detailed information.

MJ - so you actually took her physical phone?

Cady - Yes

MJ - I've seen her quoted as saying, "Rick Pitino knew about this". Do you have any factual basis to believe this.

Cady - If she said that, she is speculating based on the things McGee told her. She has no evidence of that, and I'm not sure that is true.

MJ - There are ppl on the UL side poking holes in this story. Asks about recreating the texts. What does that mean?

Cady - It's not a big deal. They were shown as text messages ... Not clear on this part.

Cady - She will eventually talk to the NCAA.

MJ - She won't avoid the NCAA?

Cady - I have no reason to believe she will avoid them, but right now is not the best time due to the atmosphere. Says some people are (paraphrasing) in too deep of denial that such a thing would happen.

MJ - Asks about IBJ creating the LLC. Is it relevant.

Cady - It is irrelevant

MJ - You feel 100% sure that the core of that book is true?

Cady - "ABSOLUTELY"

MJ - When you went to the former FBI folks, did you find or did they find anything in that process that you determined she had made up?

Cady - "Not a single instance"

MJ - Will it be available in hard cover?

Cady - Yes, next week.

Seems I remember a unc player admitting he never went to class too. The Fat lady hasn't sung yet and a whole lot of bad things are being made not so bad lately. We shall see...What should happen and what will happen ....

I thought it was funny how Rutherford completely took Cady out of context on the prostitution issue. They specifically asked Cady about Powell using her underage daughter to which Cady responded that he didn't believe them to have been underage when they performed sex acts, not to say they weren't present when they were underage. Then Rutherford goes on to ask so you don't think it was prostitution? (referring to Powell pimping her daughters) what Powell may or may not have done with her daughters falls under a completely different category in human trafficking. Prostitution is more broad and allegedly occurred with several different women of varying ages. Then when the interview was over and they were recapping it, Rutherford mentioned again that Cady denied that "prostitution" occurred, but the way he phrased it you would have thought he meant it in the more general sense and not in reference to underage peddling of her daughters.

While true, the UNC is favored by the NCAA. Also, the scale of their decades-long scandal is still being revealed and investigated if you want to take a more positive look at it.

Louisville doesn't enjoy such a status with the NCAA, and the NCAA doesn't take kindly to sex scandals. Also, this is being exposed by players who have nothing to gain or lose from this. Lyle/Blakeney could go on about their lives and say nothing. This isn't the same as former UNC employees/players with a possible axe to grind.
