Haven't you guys heard the latest? She was Andre's squeeze. You know, a spurned lover deal. Don't laugh... A lot of directors of BBall operations have prostitutes for girlfriends.

Now that the Ho-down has been ruined, TJ Leaf is no longer considering UL. Coincidence?

Well, to be honest, we really did not have much of a chance BEFORE everything broke. He really did not fit, how do you say it, our "demographic" (6-9 white, " surfer dude" from California)

It's great that we have all bonded in this thread. Feels good.

Would just like to say that it would be an honor to go last in a Rafter's gang bang.

-I know you guys think I'm crazy right now but, I would really like this responsibility

Maybe Louisville should seek new marketing rights for the Yum Center. I personally think Life Styles would make the most sense, how about the slogan "Hookers are Louisville's Life Style, whats yours?"?

Don't think it works that way. It's not the recruits that broke the rules, it's the school. Since they cheated that would make those players ineligible to attend Louisville but not other schools since the other schools didn't do it.

If this were true then players could receive money and still be eligible, so long as it doesn't come from anyone associated with the school they end up attending. I'm pretty sure if two players receive impermissible benefits from the same person and go on to different schools they're still both ineligible.

In fact, this exact thing (several players getting money in high school, later ruled ineligible) has happened before. So, I don't think the person giving the benefits needs to be associated with a university, nor the player must choose said university, in order for the player to be ineligible.

So right now you have 3 guys who were mentioned in the book who said at least some of the things in the book happened and 1 in Jennings who said it didnt yet the UL fans have all they need to know with TJ's comments LOL.

[
When does it become obvious to some that they knew which recruits would like the katina treatment and it wasn't every player or recruit. Those 3 were just happy to get a scholly from a school not in the mac or ovc.

And where did it say in the book that any of the players with the hookers/escorts/strippers were even white? They were never implicated by Katina anyhow. They are using these players as character references for Pitino which is F'ing hilarious! Anything that happened in Minardi Hall, they would know about it.
it seems like the NCAA wanted to get the facts before UL had a chance to tell everyone not to talk or give some bogus investigation results maybe they learned a lesson or 2 from the UNC academic fraud case
Exactly! The NCAA doesn't trust Jurich and Ramsey any more than UK fans. The corruption is rampant.

MJ said on his show this morning that he feels confident that at least one more player or recruit has testified to the NCAA that allegations made in Katina Powell's book are accurate. Said he doesn't know if the news media will get the story but, he apparently thinks it has happened.
Not much news but, enough to keep this thread going, I hope!

Possibly one of the guys who ultimately came here instead?

Here's one of the ul fans. All their threads are screaming about proof but they want to convict coach Cal after he has been cleared or on simple rumors from random places with no substance. Talk to me about your hypocritical lives please. Feel free to explain your position. There's much more evidence here about the ul debacle. I'll be waiting and taking notes.

So does anyone actually believe this woman is telling the truth?

Do you believe in text messages?

Do you believe in photos?

Do you believe in wire transfer receipts?

Do believe in recruits acknowledging these things happened?

Do believe in former players acknowledging these things happened?

Do you believe in Jurich and Pitino NOT denying the allegations?

So it looks like the hard copy of the book has been pushed back a week or so. Was hoping it was because they were adding in some additional evidence, but according to IBJ, they say it will contain the same contents.

Still holding out hope.

Wasn't Aaron Craft the recruit that ended being the death of Bruce Pearl at Tennessee? He was still allowed to play for Ohio St after the fact. Every case is different so it's hard to set a exact precedent but I do know the first thing they do is ban the school from recruiting a player in the wake of most violations.

I'm kind of curious, what would happen if a school hung back up there vacated banner? If UMass, Michigan, or Memphis said screw you (NCAA) were hanging our FF banner, could they do anything? Obviously the official record would have an * but would the NCAA have any ground to punish them for re-hanging the banner, in their own arena?

Odd question, but I've kind of wondered about it.
