This is between Andre and Powell. This has nothing to do with UofL. So what if Andre did wire her money? Andre owed her money. Him wiring her money doesn't prove that it was used to buy dances or sex for the team. Andre obviously was using the services of Powell. Andre left Louisville so her gravy train was done. Sounds like she got mad and here we are. To this point all I see is problem between Powell and Andre.

Come on PJ, you're going to have to try harder than that...[smoke]

Just noticed that the new US Attorney in Louisville is the guy who sent Pitino's last accuser to jail.

How about a 1-2 punch: Proof that Pat Forde is compensated outright by Rick and his dirty gang of thugs. Forget the stripper, hoes and coke parties doing rails off the navels of 19 year olds, I'm taking PHAT $$ checks and wire transfers right to Pat Forde.

Reading the "We're screwed" thread on their rivals board. It's hilarious how many of them are still sticking their heads in the sand. Worst one is Sec221.

Plus he's a UL reporter and all of this went on right under his nose so guess what, Tim Sullivan, you suck as a reporter.Maybe if you spent more time doing your job instead of tweeting insults out to UK fans then you might accidentally stumble upon an opportunity to do a little real journalism you hack.

Blame it all on McGee?

Don't tell me the security guards in that dorm didn't have the cell phone number of at least an assistant coach for use in the event that something serious happened.

I'll bet they were under orders to call even if a player came back home after curfew the night before a big game.

I got banned for answering Zippy's questions on the UL board. He wanted to know how the recruits would know if the girl they were having sex with was a hooker. Seriously. How is that a question? When was the last time a regular normal girl grabbed you and then put a prophylactic on you with her mouth within 3 minutes of you meeting her?
I can understand Zipp's confusion....he has had many men play with that zipper.

BUT that is not the issue...they were paid hookers whether the recruits knew or not. UL knew!

How about that trashy looking barber shop, where the first deal was set up BEFORE she even met Andre Mcgee? One of us should go there for a haircut. I bet it's the only barber shop in town where no one is speaking to anyone else.

I seems the president and/or AD will not much choice here, but to start with asking Pitino to leave. Beyond that, I'm not sure how far this may go.....

Louisville AD Tom Jurich said via school: "coach Pitino has no plans to step down and he absolutely didn't know about the allegations."

As expected. Deny, deny, deny, call in favors, people will eventually forget. That's the philosophy. It has served them well. Sypher. Petrino re-hire. At every instance where they took national criticism, they hunker down, declare loyalty if not innocence, it blows over. Next thing you know, some guy on ESPN, which was so critical of Pitino/Sypher and the Petrino rehire, is talking about what a great coach Rick is, what a brilliant offensive mind Petrino is. People will forget. They are banking on it.

I can't see this happening. The desperation of that University is already evident. They will do their best to hang onto Pitino becasue if he goes they take a MAJOR step back. No big name coach will take a job with this mess hanging over their head so they are looking at a stop gap at a minimum for a few years before they can hire another coach. There is not another coach that exists that is available that is on Pitino's level. They know that and they hang onto him with everything they have in them regardless of how much this embarrasses the UofL. It is all about money and they make a lot of it.....they ain't giving that up over some little silly thing like prostitutes paid by an assistant in their basketball "dorm." Nothing to see here and time to move on. Remember....Cal is a cheater!

The Goodman article discussed Kentucky law and an age of consent that is 16, but is silent about federal child sex trafficking laws where the cutoff is age 18. There's apparently no statute of limitations on that, either. Powell may be in for a surprise after her 15 minutes of fame, unless her lawyer who was caught sleeping one off in a trash can a few years ago has worked things out in advance. If he did, McGee and other people associated with the Louisville basketball program could be in huge trouble on federal trafficking charges.

I could be wrong, but unless state lines were crossed...I don't think the Feds get involved.

The one exception I see is the Blakeney transaction. But that is honestly more McGee because he wired the money from California. Katina would be more likely to be a witness in that Federal prosecution of McGee for arranging for prostitution across state lines.

Wouldn't it be nice to see ESPN has this much interest in UNC?

I will never believe UL will do the right thing until it happens. Pitino should be forced stay there for everyone to continue to cover their ears/eyes and keep giving him standing ovations whenever he appears in public.

Let's see how recruiting goes now......now we know why he defends Roy.

McGee, who spent six years as a player and employee in Pitino's culture, arranged for all of this in the player's dorm in front of university security, as if he had no fear of Pitino finding out and punishing him.

Either he's incredibly reckless, or he thought Pitino wouldn't mind. Even if he's reckless and Pitino didn't know, Pitino has to be held a little bit accountable for bringing this kid back and promoting him.

"It sounds like she was writing the book as all this was going on. I wonder if a lot of this could be considered entrapment and how many people played a role in this?"

There I was, just reading the "We Are Screwed" thread on the cards bb board, when I came across this. I've had a perma-smile all morning but this was my first guttural laugh out loud moment.

They continue to hang their hats on the "two wrongs make a right" theory. If somehow Katina had impure motives, ul is exonerated. If her daughters were underage when Hezzell had sex with them, it doesn't count. Because it wasn't legal. Don't you understand? HAHAHAHA
