So Mangok and Peyton Siva were both implicated as being present at at least one sex party, although Powell said Siva did not participate.

Neither of these upstanding Louisville heroes had the moral fortitude to report blatant illegal
activities happening before their eyes in the hallowed Minardi Hall.

The Ville Handbook Rule #1: Snitches get stitches.
If they did snitch that there were stripper parties to somebody I would consider that a ***** move.

I'm actually with Siva on this one.

Vampires always pass lie detector tests. So do narcissists, people who have reality disconnects...and several other folks. Some of the reasons courts don't really care for them when it comes to evidence.

I have no problem with that opinion.
But if he was worried about a ***** move, and he could have prevented NCAA jail time, then he has to live with that...

He passed because he believes the nonsense that he spews.

I would like to see the results of a test every time he said a player was the best ever or a player wouldn't play

Not a peep about it on any UL board. It's funny how they are trying to almost pretend this stuff isn't going on.

You know damn well that any drama similar would be lighting Rupp's Rafters on fire. It just shows the true difference in our fan bases. A lot more realists on this side.
They are way to busy complaining that this board is filled with so much hate and horrible slang directed at them. All the while, they only offer friendship and cupcakes to any uk fan that would like to partake in a lively, friendly debate on their board.
You can't make this stuff up.
Their board is now crying victim!!!!!

Wait a minute. I thought this had nothing to do with this team? Pitino has said that several times. I heard Matt jones say it today (maybe in the replay of his Finebaum appearance).

If there's reason to think any current player is possibly implicated, it changes things fundamentally - and undercuts all the whining about "the innocent kids on this team".....

I still don't see what the fuss is about since these girls just came over to Minardi hall to listen to music with the guys.

"It has nothing to do with any of this years team" That is the theme alot of Louisvilles local media has been going with for a while now. I heard Cowgill and Valvano crying about this yesterday. I just shook my head. Maybe he didn't participate, but Mathiangs name was definitely in the book

He said he took one during their first press conference after the book came out. Dicky V keeps bringing it up but if anyone actually believes they put probes on Ricky them I've got some Ocean front property in Arizona. Really though as a college basketball coach of someone's even suggesting a lie detector test you should know you're already up poop creek.

PR stunt and timing to deflect their fans hate for their decision.

I say he passes on the Yale presidency job in ten days.

Uh, you need to go re-read the first few posts in the linked thread again. I know we're all homers here but, that is some distorted stuff. Symptomatic of a mental illness I would think. Who even thinks like that?
I say boycott Lousiville.

Stay away from brothels, Asian massage parlors, hookers, adult toy stores etc.

Agree, anyone who thinks the university = entire area is missing chromosomes.

But agree, UofL fan takes it to next level stupid.

I do feel bad for any of the players who weren't a part of it and honestly had no idea it was happening.

I'm starting to think that's not very many guys.

Who exactly would Pitino be taking the lie detector test for and why?

If Jurich or Ramsey don't trust their coach then isn't that a sign of a much bigger problem?

How has the media missed this point?

A successful lie detector test is still useless, not knowing simply confirms a lack of institutional control.

Several of them have for years suggested that Louisville secede from Kentucky, since according to them, they are the only area that really matters. They insist that their metropolitan area provides the revenue for the rest of the state to exist, and they should not have to pay for people who date their cousins, have wringer washers on their front porches, and generally have no business living.
I'll bet there are more EBT cards and public housing in Loserville than the rest of the state combined.

How many guys on UMASS were involved in Marcus Camby signing with an agent?

How many guys on Memphis were involved with Derek Rose taking the ACT?

That clearly is not the point.

In terms of punishment, of course not. The basketball team should get the death penalty. But I don't like guilt by association either, including the guys at UMass and Memphis.

Like I said, it seems there are/were more players involved or at least knowledgeable than originally assumed.
