Why does the information need to be "startling"? They cheated and it has been confirmed by their own investigation. If Jurich was for the ban, you can bet your sweet *** he is worried about the NCAA hammer.

They hired ho's to woo underage recruits (and their parents). What's your definition of startling, Ricky? Makes me wonder what the hell else went on there.
I guarantee they would not have self imposed a post season ban if they did not think the NCAA had them by the nuts. They hired that guy that was previously with the NCAA and he probably is advising them on what to do to minimize penalties. Pitino is the next casualty, he will resign at the end of the season using the post season ban as the reason. Pitino will save face with a resignation and then surface somewhere else.
They sat on their high horse saying none of this could have possibly happened and once the investigation was done the entire university would be clear of all accusations. The ncaa report confirms that she is not lying and in turn UL had to show "good faith" that they were completely blindsided by the findings. If they hadn't done anything it would almost prove that they knew the accusations were true.
ESPN confirmed it in two weeks. No way they would have ran that story if there was even a small chance it wasn't true.

He's only partially telling the truth. He failed to mention the players that were involved. One of them is Mancock Methane. HE is the reason for the ban this year. They are just pumping sunshine at the fans to keep them coming to the Bucket and buying drinks.
As I said above, they were doing that to appease the fans and keep them coming out of false hope.

From reading about Jones, I can't tell if he's yet another race baiter, but I think it is likely. In saying nothing startling was discovered, did he ever deny the allegations of KP? Nope. Nothing startling needed to be found, genius. If evidence was found to support what was already known it's already game over.
