Their rivals board has crashed big time since october when the scandal broke. Every UL fan that disagreed with them was run off the board...and others just couldn't put up with RockyCard, Kerry Rhodes, Zipp etc all being delusional. I remember that board being pretty fun especially when it had the smack talk board.
Smack talk board is how I got my permaban. I thought that was what it was for. Turns out it was just for them to talk smack to us.

Soon there will be a press conference that no one knows who or how the decision was made to self ban and therefore they have decided to play in the tournament this year.

Next we'll probably going to hear that Andre McGee made the decision to ban post season this year. He is apparently responsible for everything else with UL basketball. Hope he won't mind sacrificing his 2013 banner.

Has it not occurred to the U of L fan base that Andre wasn't involved in her first trip to the dorms and that he was helping someone else with the hotel tryst set up for Blakeney?

Ricky Jones was on the Terry Meiners Show this afternoon. He was backpedaling on his CJ interview quite a bit and was very cautious with his comments. He added the "knowledge qualifier" to his statement about other UL coaches being involved. "To my knowledge, there was no one else involved but Andre McGee" Lawyers use knowledge qualifiers when they aren't sure of an answer.

Perplexing thought.....I really wonder of McGee's conversations with NCAA investigators. Do you think he sang like a bird cuz at this point he has nothing to lose. He's already screwed in this deal. Does he really tell all for maximum implications to all purportedly involved. In other words 'I'm not going down alone!"

Ricky Jones is a modern day Malcom X; he complains about everything going on at UL that involves anything white in color.
If Ramsey was not white, he would not have went public with this complaint.
These people are so nuts right now down there, blaming everyone from the janitor to the president.

What drives me crazy is how they, UL fans, all think the ban is so unfair since none of the current players were involved.
This has nothing to do with these players, but the university, the basketball coaching staff and one of its former EMPLOYEES who broke rules. Who do these buffoon's think should be punished?

The rats are starting to jump off the sinking ship folks.

McGee hasn't talked to them as far as I know. They have no power over him because he is no longer employed by an NCAA member. Maybe I missed it, everything has been so hush hush.

He doesn't get to work anymore, yet the person that recruited him coached him and put him on staff is still coaching.

Only in Louisville

This should be good considering oldbluefart is a UL troll. Its one of those names that mods should of banned by just looking at the name alone.

Hey, can anyone find the women's coach and Petrino's contracts? I'm curious if they have it in their contracts that protect them if wrong doing is done by subordinates without their knowledge. Because if thats the case, Jurich is promoting an atmosphere of non compliance by not holding coaches responsible.

Surely NCAA interviewed him prior to his release after suspension. I reckon I'm hoping anyway. You'd think they would make that man THE priority.

nope. They tried to but McGee resigned and that was the end of it. Then Pitino called him up several times as Pitino has admitted. If it was the court of law, Pitino would be in deep sh*t for tampering by doing that.

Just read an article on ESPN regarding the SMU ban where Brown called the post-season ban ******** because one secretary taking an online course for an incoming student was not a lack of institutional control. I wonder how the SMU case will factor into the Louisville case in terms of additional penalties. If you compare the cases side-by-side, the NCAA would almost be forced to hit Louisville way harder, though we know the NCAA is incredibly arbitrary (for example, the one time use of a "strict liability" standard in the Memphis case).

Maybe McGee will write a book. He's not gonna be coaching anywhere.

The NCAA will hit louisville hard. The question is how hard. Will they make it back after?

Yeah I just wanted to bring this to light. CJ ran with Ricky Jones' statement of "nothing more" etc. Now to find out, he wasn't even at the disclosure meeting. UL is falling apart right before our eyes.

Also, Jones said the BOT met at Ramsey's house this past Saturday and that Ramsey told them he'd be gone sooner rather than later. Sorry if already posted.

I've been listening to 680 in Louisville on my way into work this week. I don't know if it's Deiner or Demling who runs that show, but the guy is grasping at any freaking straw he can to try and make things look less bad for UL. First off, why are they blindly believing the word of ONE committee member who wasn't even at the disclosure meeting? "Nothing groundbreaking" doesn't mean that old charges weren't corroborated.

The UL faithful either won't accept or are too ignorant to realize that all this **** they are whining about is on the periphery. The real issue is that the UL basketball program (via one or more coaches) paid for players and recruits to have prostitutes in their dorm/at hotels. No matter how you try and massage that, it's a big, massive NCAA no-no and I can't wait for the hammer to finally drop, resulting in Ramsy and Pitino leaving and another year of post-season bans, at the least (IMO of course).

Oh, I also find it funny that said UL host noted that news of Ramsy meeting with some of the BOT at his house over the weekend was broken last night by some journalist in Louisville, though it was really broken by Matt Jones on KSR yesterday. He did mention Jones being the arch-enemy of UL multiple times in the same segment, but completely refused to give him any credit on breaking pretty much every story that relates to the UL scandal up to this point. It just makes the entire situation even better.

I wouldn't doubt that this basketball ordeal is the least of Ramsey's worries. He can't receive any criminal penalties from that angle. There are other investigations going on over there though that could very possibly lead to jail time. Those people that were paid off when they left were paid for a reason. When corruption and cover up are revealed to be standard operating procedure in several departments, you can bet the entire institution has skeletons.

He was suspended immediately when news of the book broke. Within two weeks he resigned. The NCAA had not started any inquiry at that time. The only way he would be forced to talk is if a criminal investigation were to take place. Doesn't look like that will happen or it already would have. Once the powers that be realized they would have to commit suicide to take down Katina, they eased off those threats.

The underage stuff with the kids is not as evil as some make it out to be. The age of consent in KY is 16. If the whores and the whoremongers were about the same age, there isn't a real problem with that aspect other than the prostitution angle.
