How naïve can people be to believe he knew nothing about it. They are very gullible who really thinks he knew nothing. They are stupid people they even go on national tv and repeat his lies.

Okay. This thread is going towards ridiculous. To get it back on a more serious side I'd like your opinions (speculation) as to what you believe the penalties might be and the fall out.

I'll start:

This looks very close to "lack of institutional control". If it does meet that criteria then I believe there will be a second post season ban. If it doesn't meet that criteria I still see loss of two scholarships a year for two seasons or a total of a loss of five scholarships over a three year period.

Either Pitino gets a ten game suspension or he gets the tag of "show cause". If he gets that tag that would be two athletic employees with "show cause" with Clint Hurtt being the other. At that point Jurich would fell the pressure to part ways with Pitino.

I anticipate as many as five or six transfers: Jaylen Johnson, Jay Henderson, Donavan Mitchell, Deng Adel, and Dillon Avare; Nanu will declare for NBA draft.

Ramsey will tender his resignation more so of other administrative failures than this scandal.

Jurich stays.

And here's something that will happen fairly soon: Jeff Waltz will go to Tennessee to replace Holley Warlick.

Petrino stays another season and will leave.
