What did Rick Ray do to deserve this?

Wednesday at Mississippi
Saturday at Florida
next Wednesday vs Missouri

Another reason LSU and TAMU stung so badly, our next realistic expectation of winning is going to Baton Rouge in two weeks.

ETA: At least we have moved ahead of TCU in the RPI (231 vs 232) so we are no longer the lowest rated power conference team. Up next in our sights at #222 - Auburn.

The biggest reason it hurt

is that a 14 game losing streak is a serious possibility.

You mean besides

dropping Gray, Not being able to sway Hood, missing out on Pollard and cutting 2 contributors?

Nobody was going to sway Hood or pull in Pollard and by all accounts Gray and the 2 contributors pretty much cut themselves.

Meh, Ole Miss is struggling pretty badly right now. If State plays as hard as they've been playing, I wouldn't be surprised for a really close game. Henderson has been off the last few games.

I do have some info on Hood. Pollard is just my speculation. But the fact he never even committed to us (much less sign in the early signing period) or even list us as his leader even though his dad supposedly told him on his deathbed that he wanted him to go to MSU tells me that he probably was never going to sign with us. Again, just my speculation.

Then Florida again...

..to add a whole bunch of insult to a whole bunch of injury, we play Florida again after the time you have listed. I like this team & like the way they play with heart. But they aren't going to make any headway while there is no relief on the bench. They are getting run ragged with no venue of escape. They are playing for next year already, & I'm okay with that.

Come on Ronny, you're better than that.

We've already played them once. The game I listed AT Florida is the road game and happens after the Bear beatdown this Wednesday.

Here's an update on GPAA Josh Gray: now averaging 9.3 ppg in 25 minutes. His shooting is atrocious, and would fit right in with us. 38%fg/19%threePt/68%FT. In conference play, the numbers are worse. 8 ppg, shooting 33%, 11% from three. In conference, 21 assists and 25 turnovers. Overall 52/62.
