What do you want to hear from introductory press conference

It's an exciting new era for us. Few things I'd like to hear:

1) I cannot guarantee we will win every game but I can guarantee our players will be the most disciplined, prepared and coached in the nation.
2) We're going to compete and win at the highest level.
3) We're recruiting players with the highest abilities but only if it matches with character. We want players to be winners on/off the field, no exceptions.
4) I want to grow an already avid fan base into an exceptional one, with every game being sold out.
5) I want to be a legend at the Birthplace and be my final destination.

Take it from here.

"Coach Ash will be late, he is currently in his office meeting with the number 1 player in the nation".

Ash: "This Mildone character is spot-on with his affinity for hookers and blow and his predilection for sheep of low moral standing. Therefore I am appointing him program Fanbassador for a starting salary of $10M"

Nothing stupid. There's not likely to be anything insightful to come out of his introductory spiel. As long as he says the right things and doesn't screw up, it's fine.

We will return to the nasty defense Rutgers fans came to expect during the Schiano era

Backup quarterbacks better be ready

I'm here to win National Championships not entertain the media or play babysitter to professors who make a career out of whining. So let me be clear, please stay out of my way so I can get it done on the gridiron . Thank you.

Everyone is going to love what he says no matter what, it's the beauty of being bias... In all actually he could suck as a coach or could be great, we won't know until next year after a season of football and 'cruitin

I can't guarantee that we'll win every game but I can promise that teams will know that they played Rutgers.

That's enough for me. Give me a f'ing man leading this program. So ready to move on f'ing impostor we've had the last few years.

"This isn't about finishing ahead of Maryland, Indiana, or Penn State, it's about finishing above MSU, Michigan, and OSU, then winning that game in Indianapolis, and going to the Final 4."

(yes, STICK IT to State in the process lol...)

I recall Madden used to say Giants fans were unusual in that they were connoisseurs of defensive football. I doubt Ash would say that about Rutgers but I'll like anything he says about making a tough defense again.
