What happened to Davis’ sinker?

It hasn’t sunk the last two outings. Against Queens the announcers mentioned a blister but he kept pitching so i didn’t think anything of it. I’m starting to think it may be an issue, which would at least be an excuse for his poor pitching lately.

For you non baseball folks, that 94 mph sinker that he WAS throwing is as nasty as J.T. Ginn’s was pre-injury. It hasn’t been that the last two starts.

This. His stuff is above average. Most SEC hitters are well above average. I’d love to see an OOC batting average for the entire SEC.

y’all aren’t observant enough. He hasn’t had near the sink in his last two starts. I will throw out the possibility of camera angles making things look different, but I don’t think that is it.

It was sinking pretty good against Texas, but he wasn't getting the calls....Jay Powell was irate on the radio about the umpire not calling strikes and said he couldn't pick up the sink....I didnt see much yday though.
