What has been the highlight of GS 2.0 so far?

As we get ready for the fourth season of GS’s return to the Banks, I’d like to look back on the best moments of the past 3 seasons and pick the highlight.

Honestly there have been fewer than most of us expected.

For me, the highlight was actually a loss: the 3OT loss to Michigan in 2020. We already beat Michigan St a few weeks before but this game was just pure fun! Vedral threw for close to 400. We had huge plays in a massive comeback. If R O’Neal just could have gotten off a better lateral. It was just what our fan base needed during the miserable Covid pandemic era.

Frankly the other highlight that I considered was when it was announced that GS was actually coming back for his second tenure.

1st GS 2.0 highlight- Stability of the program! The drama of the flood years was just bizarre and then watching the implosion in real time put a pit in all our stomachs. The lack of drama and lack of winning....In fact the lack of anything resembling excitement in the program or on gameday of the Ash heap years left us all longing for GS 2.0.
Now I am starting to get excited with this pick up in recruiting and hopefully winning. I have been a rutgers fan for too long so I have been conditioned to not get too excited until I see the product on the field. I am willing to Give HC GS a few more years to get the program going.

The win at Boston College was great, but my favorite moment still has to be the laterals play against Indiana that didn't end up counting.

Beating bc …going after Ryan day … firing gleeson … playing toe to toe at Michigan … having players make a political statement they believe in and put on uniforms with “chop 4 change “.

Watching @Shelby65 have a complete mental meltdown every time Schiano is mentioned.
No meltdown..the results suck so far. My favorite RU moment in the three years is a Zingermann’s Deli sandwich in Ann Arbor.

Honestly, aside from Korsak and Wagner clips there’s been nothing highlight-film worthy. Nothing.

This is sad. There hasn't been a highlight yet. It's Year 4 and I don't see one coming this year either.

Having Korsak punting inside the 5 yard line.
That game plan is gone now.
Maybe we get more gutsy now on 3rd down plays.

I’d have to say the final drive against BC where Winsatt looked so good just handing the ball off ever down
Wimsatt didn't have to pass. It was a 96 yard drive where we picked up 5 of the 17 first downs we had in the game. Salaam ran for 45 yards combined on the last two plays.

- win vs Indiana last year
- Beating @BC
- Beating @Cuse
- going down to the wire at Michigan
- actually having fun atmospheres at big games vs Iowa, Nebby and 1H vs Michigan.

Stadium hasnt been juiced up like those games in quite some time

Moose is a miserable dipshit and does not deserve a response. He does nothing but dunk on Rutgers and NJ from Tennessee. Maybe he should find something else that makes himself happy instead of boosting his endorphins on social media failing to be witty on a NJ and RU football message board by failing to rile up Rutgers fans.
