I logged on here tonight and find innumerable posts about Finebaum's show. Question: why does anyone care what he says? I see some saying we need to fight back because we are getting hammered on his show. Are you serious? Some are saying what Finebaum says will hurt us. Really? Do you realize that nobody respects Finebaum? Oh, Finebaum said something about Byrne and Megan. Who cares? He's just throwing crap against the wall at this point. Good grief, we must have the dumbest fanbase in America.
Newsflash: we did the right thing. We handled this in the right way. The most we'll get is a secondary violation for improper contact between a booster and the father of a recruit. We not only turned down a recruit's attempt to get cash from us, but we reported the situation to the proper authorities. We are in great shape. When everything is revealed, that fact will be clear and everyone will know it. Settle down. Auburn fans are trashing us because denial at this point sounds better than facing facts. Winning an SEC and National title sounds better than vacating wins. Basically, it is easier to believe this is a conspiracy to bring them down than to face the idea that, at the least, they have been playing an ineligible player all year and they won't get any hardware this year. Finebaum is playing to them right now because it gets him ratings. That is all he cares about. He can feed them anything and they will believe it. Really, this is like a dream for Finebaum. When you guys listen to his show, get upset, and them post here you are playing into his hands. Calm down. Paul knows how this will ultimately go. He isn't stupid.
