He has all the ability to be one of the best ever and his life long ambition is to play in the NBA so with that said why in the hell doesn't he play like it? Just think how great he would beif he had the heart, integrity and brains of Jarvis Varnado. I guess what pisses me off moreis thewasting of Miss State's and the Miss State's fans time. I don't even like seeinghim on the court. There are a few moments when he shows that greatness then the rest of the time he looks like the fat kid in the lunch room touching your food asking are you going to eat that. Those five Stars didn't mean ****.

Like someone mentioned the other day, Renardo just does not seem to have a love for the game.

Even though he is overweight and only plays to 10% of his ability, we are still a better team with him on it because we are short on big bodies. He has done a good job finding open shooters from the post when teams go to a zone.

a lot of people don't truly know how important something is to them until it is taken away. Renardo had basketball taken away for a year and 9 games and he still doesn't put forth that much effort. It makes me wonder if the fact that he was always bigger and betterhelped himdevelop into someone with no discipline or work ethic.

is that in his haste to wolf down the jumbos, he's blowing right past the salad enclosed therewith and he thinks we're stiffing him.

I understand why he gets a bunch of crap from our fans. He deserves it in a sense. Coming in overweight, fighting teammates in the stands, drama, etc. I understand all that and it is deserved to a degree. I also understand that off the court issues or on the court drama could change my opinion if they occur in the future. But over the course of the last month, all of that has been avoided.

Renardo, in my opinion, is a much improved player from a season ago. He has played a very important part in us being 10-1. Two of his best games as a Mississippi State basketball player took place at MSG. He was 4-16 combined in those two games. Point is, he defended, he hustled, and he rebounded. That Arizona game was jeopardy in the mid second half. In fact, they had cut our lead to 2 points. Renardo hit a huge baseline jumper, and we went on a big run after that. He provided a much needed spark. Look at the West Virginia game. He was huge in the run that closed out that ball game. Again, you can even look at the FAU game the other night. We played better with him on the floor. He is huge weapon against a 2-3 zone because of his passing ability. He also extends the defense because he has such a soft touch. I get the hate because of the events of the past 18 months, but right now, I think he is playing well. Again, even though he doesn't have the 19ppg and 11rpg many people first notice, I believe he has improved.

For the record, Renardo has 28 points and 16 rebounds in his last 40 minutes of basketball while shooting 11/17 from the field.

well said. He is a very important part of this team. I think he has a body that hurts his image. It wants to be tired and lazy and gain weight and he has to understand this and fight it constantly. He needs help with energy. His body doesn't produce enough of it naturally to counter balance how big he is. I'm not a nutritionist but in order for Sidney to reach the potential everyone thinks he has he needs some daily help and discipline from someone else. There are lots of ways to increase the bodies energy naturally without PED's. He can't do it alone. Stansbury all eyes are on you. Can YOU get this kid to where he should be?

because of that he will end up back in Maroon and White next year. Otherwise, he would be a lock to the draft.

1. A big body
2. Someone who helps on defense when he feels like it.
3. Someone who will dive into the crowd after a loose ball to get brownie points for hustling, but will not run down the floor to stop the other team if he's tired a little bit.
4. Someone who does not understand how to rotate on defense.
5. A snowbird
6. A key contributor for points but not someone we rely on.
7. A security guard if there is a confrontation.

I hope he continues to improve and help our team. I hope he has a great career in Turkey.

The End.

He has improved. Given where he is now compared to last year, it's a major step in the right direction. It takes a lot of time for anyone to do a complete turnaround. Like him or not, he is a vital part of our team and has been one of the keys to our success, so far. If he continues to improve, he will get where he needs to be and where we want him to be.

where the **** that happens with a player ain't Rick's fault anymore. That point was long ago with Renardo. So excuse me for pointing out how stupid this sounds
