Is how MSU football teams cannot carry over good momentum and has so hard of a time shaking bad momentum. We beat Auburn, in what was the time, a big game and we almost lay an egg at Troy. We beat TN in a shoot out and play like Kentucky at Alabama.

On the flip side we get beat by Bama and they were hungover from the loss today in the most hyped game of the year. Last year the loss at Auburn spiraled us from a confident team into a team that just trotted to the finish line and the Music City Bowl.

The Music City Bowl where we let an outmanned Wake Forest team hang around deep into the 4th.

Its not just this year, or under Mullen. I just can't remember watching an MSU team play like they had something to prove or a "us against the world" attitude. I also can't remember coming back from a bad loss and get back on track with fire in their eyes.

This today isn't just on the coaches. if it takes a coach riding your *** all week, yelling, and hyping you up to get up for a big game, then you have no heart and ethic and need to go home. Today it looked like everyone wearing white just clocked into a job they hate and were just wallowing along till quitting time.

I won't know what to say if this attitude carries over to LSU.

Good point. And the opposite is true with Ole Miss this year. They played Bama tough early, and they have played over their heads ever since. They are definitely improved, but there is no doubt that they are also playing with confidence and playing above their talent level.
