I learned a ref hand signal of a personal foul penalty somehow I didn't know.
I've seen it twice now once at the Mtn Heritage and then at the Draughn game.
He signaled personal foul the put his fist together 🤜🤛. No one around me in the stands or I asked knew and I finally found it online, it's an illegal blindside block.
How in the world as much football I've watched and those I asked and didn't know that? 😂
The refs have been calling that a lot more last couple years. And they are real touchy about the call. What looks like a good block now draws a flag. Think MA has had maybe 5 called this year with at least 3 looked to be clean blocks.

Just another example of the gashiness of what football is becoming. It used to be keep your head on a swivel. Now it's don't even worry about it.

100 years ago in the 1980's lol, a blindside block is what you wished for. Even at practice we had a guy who loved those and he once knock me for loop.
