You didn't point out anything about average -- until the past couple of posts, average has been a nonfactor in your argument. Again, changing your entire position as you go.Which is why I looked at the AL where the 4 hole had the highest Slugging last year. They drive in runs with XBH. Just like Renfroe will do all year from the FOUR HOLE.

The AL 4 hole also had the highest BATTING AVERAGE. Slugging was an addition to that, which i mentioned when I first brought that up.
I still don't see any quote saying "you bat your highest slugging % 4th" and I think there's enough evidence on here to what my position is. You know this. Those cleanup hitters did use XBH to drive in runs.
But you failed to mention the BATTING AVERAGE part until your initial quote was proven to be ********.
So, if you want batting average as the primary factor, it makes sense to have Detz in the position, does it not? XBH = slugging = Rea. Renfroe is actually the "best" of neither given all the data we have until this point...
Hence how you are STILL no closer to actually providing a real "reason" for wanting Renfroe 4th -- and calling other scenarios "stupid" -- since this whole argument started.
