What is the best baseball game on Wii or PS2?

At the risk of being bombarded with "Defender Stargate" posts, I have not bought a baseball game since I had a Super Nintendo and was wondering which ones suck and which ones are OK before shelling out $50-$60 on one.

It kicks ***. I think they have the game on other consoles as well. PS3 for sure.

Can you play it without an intimate knowledge of the infield fly rule since I am not a baseball expert? With limited time to play it to begin with, I need simple.</p>

i think they made it the next year only for PS2. it was easy to pick up, and a good game. if you like college dynasty/recruiting games. of course, it's old, but you can probably get one for 10 bucks on ebay.

Simply the greatest sports game ever made. If you don't want the incredible realism, go get MLB power pros. It's made by the same people and it's cartoony, but the gameplay is outstanding and it's 20 bucks on wii and PS2.
