I ask this because UT hired Bama's LB coach and associate HC Sal Sunseri as their new DC for $800,000per year today. He's been around for a while, but still, that is a ton of money for an assistant. I thought someone on our staff made in the 275K range, but I wasn't sure.
One of the ways we can really improve as a footballteam is to get to the point where we can pay competitive money for assistants.Obviously I know we don't have 800K to pay anyone, but if we can get to the point where our coordinators are making in the mid 300K to 400K range, I think that is a good goal for this university to stay competitive in terms of assistants. Just throwing this out there for others opinions.
