I think they're probably pissed off that they played so poorly on a big national stage, so they're wanting to beat some ***. I think they realize that beating A&M and LSU in back to back weeks would erase anything about the Bama loss. Hopefully we see some emotion out there and the team tries to prove something.
I agree Cadaver, I think there would be a much greater chance of a let down if we had played as well as we possibly could and lost to Bama in the 4th quarter in a tight game. Instead we played no where near what we are capable of and were embarrassed. Due to that, I think this team wants redemption.
Last year we had a similar occurrence when we played terribly and lost at Auburn in a much more emotional game than the Bama game this year, only to come back the next Thursday night against LSU and play them very very well. While we still lost that game, energy and physicality weren't the reasons why, LSU was just better. However, TAMU is not better than us, and if we come out and play with the energy and physicality we played with against LSU last year, after a more emotional loss, then we will win this game.
All in all, there is precedent for this team responding after a tough loss. I can't think of a game in Mullen's tenure where he has failed to get the team ready to play after a tough loss. Take that for whats it worth.
This is the week where Balis really earns his money!
