fellating of the Penn State fanbase? Enough already, they lost their coach, they have probation, they had players transfer, they got a gozillion dollar fine. Hey ESPN, maybe instead of trying to find inspiration in all of that, you should encourage them to back off the crack pipe. I really didn't expect this out of ESPN, but maybe I was a doofus for thinking they wouldn't.

I get it. How on earth PSU football can bounce back is going to be a story. People either want to see them succeed or want to see them fail.

I've been wanting to post on this topic all day just hadn't yet...ESPN is absolute trash. They spent a year destroying that school and now will spend the next year building them back up. I can't stand the crap ESPN does. Only time I watch them is for live events which they are excellent at. The drama they intentionally stir up makes them nauseating. It just keeps getting worse and worse with them.

Their top assistant gets caught raping little boys.....

...quite possibly shared the boys with Penn State boosters and moneymen, the all-time greatest figure in Penn State history was either too stupid to know what was happening or knowingly covered it up, and the fan base rioted when that greatest figure in Penn State history was fired instead of being concerned about the homosexual rapes of little boys, and all they got was a wrist-slap from the NCAA. In the meantime, the same NCAA is about drop a major hammer on MSU because some rogue booster may have given some money to a recuit.

ESPN and the rest of the media keeps talking about how Pedd State "needs to heal". Before you can "heal", you need to get rid of the infection, ie, totally fumigate that football program until they realize that winning football games should NOT come at the expense of raping little boys.

Because Tom Rinaldi is a vampire...

...who lives to suck the hope and joy out of anything he can, and Penn State was the perfect storm for him.

It`s going to be nauseating to see how fast Perv State comes back from this "monumental" punishment dished out by the NCAA. In two years they`ll be rolling while poor *** schools like us will still be running around with our tail between our legs trying to figure out why all of our commitments decommitted at the last moment. If the NCAA was really interested in doing the right thing they would have shut the trashy bastards down for at least two years.

last time i checked the penn st fanbase as a whole wasn't raping kids. the university name and the fanbase as a whole deserve a chance to bounce back. the individuals involved are being dealt with.

And the last time I checked the SMU fan base as a whole wasn`t writing checks to the Pony Express. The MSU fanbase as a whole didn`t go on a car buying spree in Memphis etc etc etc. The PSU fanbase` united (and really sick) support of JoPa since this all came up has been disgusting. They should have been fried.

the penn st alums i work with didn't immediately turn on joe pa, but as the evidence came out they accepted his role in everything and understand he had to go. i'd say a large majority of penn st alums are the same way. the small minority though that hold the protests and camp by the statue and stuff get the headlines though, so now "every" penn st alum is a pedo loving blind loyalist.

it's like if you best friend or a family member is accused of something horrible. you are likely to defend your friend until the evidence is too obvious to ignore anymore. that's just human nature.

and yeah, most of the smu fanbase not writing checks, and i one day hope their program can get back to where they were because it's awful when a small circle of alums pretty much ruined something that people loved and cared about. there's nothing wrong with wanting to see penn st football recover for the players, the new coaches, the overwhelmingly majority of the fanbase, while those responsible rot in jail. penn st is merely a name applied to a plot of land with buildings for higher education in central PA. it amazes me how many people seem more infuriated at the name penn st more than the people responsible.
