into the bag and immediately came up holding his shoulder......Reminded me of a lot of plays I've seen in the pros when an outfielder dives head first for a ball and seperates the shoulder.......I hope that it's not that serious but he was in an awful lot of pain.......
I am sure that both will go to the MD and they will take images and figure out exactly what the extent of their inuries is tommorrow if not by tonight.

He still has a record for base-stealing, but....
Against Bob Jones in Madison, AL, 10 yrs ago, he was stealing second, slid in head-first to avoid the catcher's throw, caught/hooked 2nd with his left hand hard enough to separate the shoulder. But, was out. In every sense.
There ain't no crying in baseball, but you can still get some injuries.
