8 points, 7 assists, and 8 boards in the FINALS? In a game to blow it wide open to a 3-1 lead? Lebron made 1 FG that wasn't a dunk? Dirk has a 102 fever and goes 21 and 11.

Dishing the ball in the 4th to Miller and Haslem? Taking 0 initiative? Inexcusable and just bad

EDIT to add the worst Flop in history by Lebron

Im a fan as well but tonight he just went awol. I haven't been that confused by a game of his in a while.

Oh well... I just wanted to agree before all of the "we told you he sucked so bad or Cleveland would have had 5 rings because of him" people hop in.

"the King" about his game "shrinking" in the 4th Q. They just couldn't believe that he would ask that Q. Shrink sounds like a good description to me, maybe not strong enough.

There was a game against Boston in the playoffs last year and one against the Magic in 2009 where he just inexplicably looked disinterested and tuned out. Was Delonte West in town to visit his mom or something?

That flop was horrible but he has been doing that his entire career and more often than not the refs go for it. However, it does seem like LeBron is not getting those calls this series.

both teams but there was some major brick laying going on for both sides, terrible shooting. It was good to see Wade **** the bed on that last possession.

LeBron only took one shot in the last eight minutes. It looked like he just was not interested and deferred to everyone else. The best players in this series have been Wade and Nowitzki with LeBron being a very distant third. Certainly nota "Greatest Player of All Time" type performance thus far.

have the intangibles that players like Bird, Jordan, Johnson, et.al had when it came to team play and leadership. I think he is trying so hard to be a team guy that he is actually hurting his team, ironic.

When Jordan was his age, Jordan still hadn't won a title.

People forget how young he is because he started out of high school and has been around a while. He still has a good 10+ years in the league. He's got a ton of potential, so I wouldn't write his legacy just yet.

It would be almost as bad as trying to pinpoint Kevin Durant's spot among the all-time greats. I think Durant has just as much potential as Lebron, but neither have peaked.

better than MJ (or even Kobe, for that matter). He's not even the best player on his team. How can y'all think that. aGAIN, I have nothing against Lebron. However, at this point, I think it's crazy to say he's better than those two. Do y'all think that Kobe or MJ were ever in games and weren't the FIRST option in crunch time? Sure, there were games where they didn't hit the last shot (by design). However, these guys were the first option 99.9% of the time and LJ just isn't there...yet.

...and guts at this stage in his career. I don't remember Jordan at that point, but what I do remember of Jordan is that he was the most competitive player I have ever seen and refused to lose. Lebron just simply doesn't have it inside, and it doesn't really matter that much how many titles he wins with his all-star team. No guts.

I like the commentators idea of someone reviewing tapes after the game and fining the **** out of floppers.

Jordan also never choked and scored only 8 points in a pivotal game 4 of the NBA finals.

LeBron is in his prime right now.The youth excuse does not fly. He is in his eighth NBA season for Pete's sake. How much untapped potential is there after eight years? Kevin Durant, on the other hand,is only in his fourth year so he has not come close to reaching his potential.

...both of them seem to have the desire to win and to scrap and fight to keep from losing. Neither one of them are at that level, but putting James up there is just laughable.

I'll be fairly lenient to Lebron because he played for a crappy organization up until this year. But now the excuses must stop. He has been in the league long enough and now has the cast around him to do better. It was one thing to do this with the Cavs. It's another with the Heat. If he is going to write his name alongside the best, he better shape up.

You do realize that Jordan won his first championship in his 7th year. Different situation, but you are the one who brought up the age thing. Lebron better get busy.
