Is that there are a LOT ofstupid-assdumb-17's who post on this page.The guy hasn'tcoached his first game and already it's aweak hire, we had to settle, it's time to fire Stricklin, the recruits are all leaving, Hood is transferring, blah, blah, blah.Holy ****,I laughed my *** off at the TSUN fans and their reactions to the hiring ofFreeze, but good lord, I'm afraid we've way out done them in the paranoia and negativity department. Compiling a top ten list of the stupidest comments made here today would extremely difficult, given the large number of them.I don't know if this guy is going to be a successful coach or not, but dammit, it's downright embarrassing that we have so many fans like this.

Take your meds and go to bed. I promise you the sun will rise tomorrow and the world isn't coming to an end.

The negativity on this board is off the charts. I don't know if some people feel they have to be extremely negative to try and fit in with the "cool" people on the board or what, but today was downright pathetic. Let the man have his press conference at least.

As an institution since our inception, we have had a limited amount of success in our athletic programsyet somehow a sizeable portion of our fanbase seems to be spoiled, especially when its time to make a hire. Not sure how that happened..............</p>

They think it's a bad hire b/c his named hadn't been mentioned until today. I was warming up to Payne, but after I <span style="font-weight: bold;">RESEARCHED </span>coach Ray, I like him better than Payne. I mean wasn't Payne like the 3rd assistant and basically there just to recruit. That seems to me like it could have been another Stans hire. It's not hard to recruit at Kentucky either by the way. Just do a little research people.

Speaking of ignorant people, has anyone read the ESPN.com article comments about this? There's some idiot saying we hired Ray b/c we know he's a lameduck black coach and will fail and that we are racist for this b/c it will make black coaches look bad. Saying we should have hired hired Payne or a more qualified black coach. I can't believe some of the things I'm reading. It's +%@+!*# embarrassing.

People need to realize Ray has been contacted by other programs for head coaching opportunities. Probably smaller schools. I'm pretty sure Winthrop was one, but he said he was waiting on an opportunity to go somewhere he knew he could do something special, then half our fans go crazy. Wow.

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but it's extremely embarrassing to see everyone jump ship when we NEED to unify on this and get behind him. It really pisses me off - just whining, bitching and complaining from everyone. <div>
