What was the deal with Jones?

I don't follow recruting a whole lot. I go to the recruiting sites once a week to see what is up. Yesterday I looked at Scouts and they had Jones as a soft verbal. OUt of couriousity i looked and he is no longer considered a soft verbal. What happened to get him put as a soft and then move back?

Soft verbal status is given when

a recruit who is committed to a school visits another school...

He was changed from soft verbal back to committment after the owner of whatever site you looked at spoke with him this afternoon (or someone close to him) re-affirming his committment.
