Last night when there was just under 2 minutes left in the game it seemed like the student section was half full. It pissed me off that so many left during such a close game.

Not saying one or the other is right or wrong - just a simple explanation for the behavior.

That was pathetic seeing them leave at halftime and in the 3rd quarter. I have no idea why. They have no idea what it was like to sit in the srudent section through Crooms, and now that we have a good team they are gonna leave. Please transfer so I will never have to see you again.

A few years ago Bama had that problem. Saban threatened the students that if they kept it up, he was releasing student sections one by one to the public. I think Dan should do the exact same thing. Piss on the crappy students that left at halftime. Screw you.

No ****. My experience in college was the last year of the Jackal and all of Crxxm. What a wonderful 17'in time to be a student. I celebrated the Liberty Bowl trip like we were playing for a MNC.

get into the game an hour and a half before kickoff just to get a decent seat you can only stretch out that flask of whiskey so far. Usually by the end of the first quarter your already out of the firewater and people figure "well i'll go reload at the tailgate and catch it on TV." I'm not defending it, i'm just telling you why it is what it is...

oh, and as a student i do take some offense to the whole "F" you students for "leaving games and not knowing what it feels like during the croom/wanning sherril years"....believe or not, some of us were still there during that time "ahla me".....also it kind of urks me when people say that because now more than ever before students get into games earlier and earlier than any other student body has at MSU, and thats a FACT.

These are really the only two reasons...you can blame the 3rd reason on our predecessors for teaching us that habit. AND REALLY CAN YOU BLAME US FOR THE 4TH REASON!?

that's 17'n ridiculous. these types of students are SOFT CORE fans. they like the fact that they can say "hey, i get to the game early so i'm a real fan." the point of going to a game and getting there early to get a good seat is to watch the game. i cannot fathom gettin into a game 2 hours early and then leaving when the game is still in doubt. it does piss me off because i was there for the end of sherril and all of croom and i was there early and i stayed for the whole game cuz i am a mississippi state fan and not someone that is there just for the prestige of saying i was there. plus a lot of sorostitutes leave after they cheer for the homecoming court and the people they pay to call friends.

and by the way the cold beverages and hot poontang are still there after the game. i cannot not recall a single instance where a female told me that if i'd been at the tailgate during the 3rd quarter that i'da knocked it out but since i waited til after the game i'm SOL. 17 the students that leave early.

Congrats on staying for the entire game of the university you attend. I can't stand the self-righteous attitude of "i came early, so give me some credit". As said above, getting there early is not for the team's benefit, it's for YOUR benefit (getting decent seats). It is a positive mark on our student body that we (yes, we, I'm a student too) have to get there early to get good seats, but that gives you no right to leave early because you're starting to sober up. Stay if you want to support your team, leave if you don't. But don't give a bs excuse for leaving early.

Like I said, Dan needs to take away half of the student tickets and open it up to the public. Make the students earn them back. 17 you again.
