50% off a Jackery power station. To supplement the propane generator I got last year for when the storms that keep tearing up my roof that State Farm won't pay for knock out the power.

Ok it was really so I can run all the Game Changer devices off of one thing. I should have made the team grandparents buy it for me.

The Wife had approximately 1,379 items in her cart for The Daughter's dorm room this fall.

Since it was a given that all that stuff was absolutely necessary and would be bought regardless.. I guess it's good she pressed send on prime day and saved a few $$.

Air Pods Pro 2. Prime Day price was $150 (marked off 40% from the normal $250 price).

Checked Costco to see if they were matching it, and they were actually offering an even better deal in my opinion - $170 for the AirPods with AppleCare included. AppleCare is $30 for AirPods, and I had to use it on my first pair. Would have been $180 before tax to get that through Prime Day.

That’s a hidden benefit of Prime Day, all the other big box stores will meet / exceed the same deals, if you look into it. Helps a lot, especially when Amazon runs out of stock, or is offering whatever it is in a weird color / configuration, etc.

Now hold your breath and pray that your daughter and roommate actually talked and everything matches properly. And don’t worry, none of it will be on theme for next year…

My kid and her future roommate talked dorm stuff last night...I did not push to find out what was decided.
Oh no...missed Prime? Oh darn.

As for deals...
I bought Move GameDay insoles for $41 instead of $50. Huge improvement over stock basketball shoe insoles.
And some Way of Wade 808 v5 basketball shoes for $100 instead of $170. The drop in cushion is bouncy as 17.

Twenty solid steel chrome lug bolts for my wife’s Cherokee to rid myself of the stamped chrome covers over the actual lug bolts that came with the vehicle that get mauled if the socket is 17ed up. $24.99. Payed over ten or fifteen dollars for three locally.
