No one has been able to run between the tackles on Bama but LSU ran the option with some degree of success. We have to be more creative on offense and take some shots down field. Both UF and Ole Miss were able to throw deep early on them with success. Our o-line did a decent job of protecting Relf against LSU front sevenand Russell seems to be able to make quicker decisions in the pocket and has a stronger arm. I hope we can keep it close going into the 4th quarter to give ourselves a shot. I'm sure we worked on Bama some last week in our limited preparation for UT-Martin.

all of 'Bamas running back eat some exlax brownies or something prior to the game so they can't carry the ball. Trent Richardson may be able to solidify a heisman trophy if we play like we did Saturday. If we can't stop the run, we will be flattenend by the red elephants and could get emabarrassed.

We can't turn the ball over, we must contain the run(bend but don't break), we must win the special teams battle(hopefully Lewis breaks one), we must make McCarron's make the plays to beat us. I like our secondary against them, especially and HOPEFULLY if Maze is out for our game. That's another thing. I don't wish injury on anyone, but I hope their all american OL, Maze, and the db that got cheap shotted miss our game. And it wouldn't hurt if Richardson stubbed his toe or something to keep his beastly self out of the game too. Bottom line: We gotta play a near flawless game and hope that the Tide is having a hang over from losing the SEC West, SEC Championship, and the Nat'l title hopes all in one game.

If we play the 2nd and 3rd team the majority of the game against Bama, then Mullen should be fired on the spot.

Your 2nd paragraph is spot on though...

basically no mistakes and come out more fired up than them. And telling Wade Bonner to not late hit people and then monkey dance on top of them like he did vs. LSU that essentially extended their drive when we had them stopped, cementing their win.

And most of all, tackle low and wrap up. We can't allow little screen passes to the RB go for TDs like last year.

Alabama is coming off tough loss in the SECCG, and gets it handed to them by a spread passing attack.

Play inspired, relentless, and do something Alabama hasn't gameplanned for.

Play calling is the key. We need to grind out first downs and keep their offense on the bench. We've got to have positive yards of every first down. I want to go for the big play, but selectively, after we've established a run and short pass threat.

Stopping them will be tough but they are not perfect. A few turnovers will certainly help. Our D-line and linebackers have to stay home and make the tackles.

I really feel that we have a chance to win this game.

thats a novel idea...

I don't understand why teams script the first 15 plays but won't turn the tempo up on the opening drive, makes no sense...

Alabama will learn a **** load about their team this saturday.
We will be ready to go like it is the superbowl ...they just came off the most physical game of the year where they actually should have won and a "kicker" let them down and it is on the road...

after first or second contact. Good luck. LSU couldn't do that. You have to handle maze somehow...he's very dangerous.
