After trashing UK earlier in the year, I'm sure he'll claim they are dangerous, really made strides, better not overlook them, etc.

He didn't. He said "2 teams in our league got beat last week by teams that aren't as good as WKU" or something to that effect before they played Western. He stated a fact.

I took that as deserved respect for Western, rather than disrespect for Kentucky and the other SEC team that lost. WKU has a nice program and he acknowledged it.

Saban.."Young man you are way too smart to go anywhere other than Alabama to play football, the other schools won't recruit over you like I will, if you go somewhere else, you are going to play as a Freshman, at Alabama, you won't play until at least your Sophomore year, if that."
