What would you trade for an LSU win?

Football wise I mean. Would you be ok with the season being an overall disappointment if we could get an elusive (understatement) win over LSU? My opinion might change when we get into the season, but since we're not really expecting a huge season anyway, I'd probably be ok with a 5-7 season if we pulled out an upset over them. Obviously, I am hoping for more than that.

State doesn't have to win over them...just need to win enough games to get to another bowl game. One of these years it will matter but not now.

Alright, so say we still have a decent season, 7 wins. That would probably be wins over Alcorn, Troy, BG, AU, KY, Arky, and either OM or LSU. Would you prefer the 7th win over OM or LSU? I bring it up because of a recent conversation I had with my dad. He HATES Bama. Even more than most people and he hated them long before the recent National title spree. The reason being the looooong streak they had over state when he was coming up '58-'80. That coupled with frequent run-ins with Bama fans in his lifetime. I would give a lot for a win or two over LSU because of the streak plus the fact that I am forced into a lot of interactions with LSU fans. I wouldn't give up a cotton bowl or even gator bowl season for it, but I would certainly trade a few wins for it.

I really don't give a **** if we beat LSU or not as long as we have a good season. If we go to a bowl game, this season is a success. If we don't, it's not. And the LSU game doesn't have anything to do with it.

What LSU are you talking about? 10-2 at end of year or 7-5 LSU? Low level bowl at this point isn't as important as getting another monkey off our back. The failure in '09 "dwarfed"** the programs growth.
