What wouldn't be a good idea for the NCAA to Sponsor Camps?

Why wouldn't it be a good idea for the NCAA to sponsor some football camps around the country and invite college coaches to either run or come and watch athletes? Take some of the TV money and do something that reaches more kids to maybe get a college education. The NFL pooled their resources.

That would likely cut into their revenue and negatively impact their budget. They'd also likely have to consider doing it for all sports too.

They (NCAA) are already a pretty messed up organization. No way doing something like this would help.

You mean the same NCAA wo cant seem to enforce their current rules and turns a blind eye to infractions? I am sure they could be trusted to get something right eventually.
