He is using the name 'Prison Mike' over on WCN. He jumped ship there with many over the summer merger.
He got wacky political before the on3 takeover. And there are a lot of folks who signed up for the on3 but couldn't keep their handles or profile histories. Finally, there are a lot of people (myself included) that absolutely hate the format here - particularly the pop-up that reminds me that I have an ad blocker - so we don't visit as much as we used to visit. I think I've looked in on 2 game threads all season. The on3 takeover is just garbage.
wildcatdon just posted here this weekend! I saw a post from him, so if he's dead he must have passed down his handle to someone else!
Nail at the Foul Line. He's around - you can usually find him in any anti-jinx post or sometimes the game threads.

Not sure this is the same legendary Don. His posting style when he responded to one of my posts seemed different. I could be wrong.

Got it. The OP mentioned wildcatdon and then "Don" in the same sentence, so I figured they were talking about the same person. To be honest, I've been around this board since 2006 and don't recognize any handle of just "Don".
Does that give some of us old-timers that were banned long long ago a clean slate fresh start?

The Don that everyone is asking about was wildcatdonf. Icr if any part of his handle was capitalized or whatever. But, there is a Don & a DonF.
I always judged whether or not my jokes were funny by whether thenailattheline liked them or not.
I thought it was his new handle at first. We got in an argument over baby boomers
. Made me think it was him even more. But the new Don isn’t into trains that I can tell. So, not the same.

Catphight and him probably got a lifetime ban like I did. When this site switched to on3 I tried logging in and praise the lord my account was good.

People have claimed that I'm Morg, unfortunately I only remember that person's username and thinking they were a good writer, so I guess that's a compliment.
What about Smoothe / Smoov whatever it was? He brought character the board, and then there was the person who pestered him.

True. Maybe he couldn't figure out how to get back in, like me. I haven't been on here in the last two years until tonight. I got on Catspause the week of "THE DOOR" when Calipari was leaving Memphis...that was the best time online short of 2012.
If that guy can’t figure out how to login after spending hours making photoshops that would be hilarious. That would be the pinnacle of irony.

I had a similar timeline with my start being when it was Catspause back in 2009-2010 (when they first hired Cal). I slowly learned disdain for Cal over the years after a plethora of what I deemed unforgiveable mistakes/changes/losses for the program. (its been discussed to death on here). I became quite critical of him on here before it became acceptable (after the St. Peter and Oakland losses) and was struck with what was in-effect a perma-ban. I was on and off for years always being quickly banned if I appeared under a similar handle.
I remember several names mentioned in this thread; BKO, SmoothAsButter (how ya been, Smooth?!), Jason Spear, and who could forget Poe? This is going way back. Cotton-Issel, DaveKersey, etc etc.

Yea I remember. One thing to think about is when the coach first posters don’t like you due to not liking the UK coach even if he’s hurting the program, its no no on facebook and here. The coach first posters (and they are) will constantly report you and I think it gets to the point where there’s a mod or 2 that just get tired of it and ban. They are a collective little tattling group.
Also and I’ve said this before, I personally know a guy who’s basically family with a former grad assist at UofMem. He said it time and time again that Calipari had them scour the internet including MT.org especially to find out what the base was doing. They applied pressure to have certain things removed. I’m sure Calipari wasn’t above this here either. I’m sure there was pressure to control the flow here at times. A son of a super influential booster at UofMem who was what you’d call an unofficial insider for Brooks Hansen claimed this as well. So I’ve always thought this was happening here.
The only difference in you and I in those years was I saw the need for Calipari based on our position but we both seemed to see through him early on and many didn’t like it because they didn’t understand it. I can name 3 posters here that I would read and think “they know Calipari, the real Calipari”. You were definitely one of them.

Never understood this kind of thing. I have never in 20+ years reported anyone, definitely not to the heads. I don’t remember ever reporting anyone to the mods either, if it happened it must have been something crazy. But even then I don’t think so.
Seems like guys in school that weren’t liked and didn’t play sports or fit in, go tattle about dudes smokin bud under the football field bleachers….really just out of anger for not being asked.
That’s who I visualize. Raging from high school, finds his way here and a few gifs of theirs get laughed at…they get the courage to post on GYeRo or and get a like, or confuse the D league with cool guys…. Builds confidence and starts thinking they’re finally IN…..turns to reporting sprees because their old ways never die, and they think they’re part of controlling everything.
I just think it fits the personality type.
I agree, more boosters and supporters need to be like that guy.
