OSU over USC

or

MSU over LSU

???

I have to think tonight's game inspires confidence in our team. But frankly, I don't care if it does or doesn't.

MSU over LSU. It's not in our house but in Death Valley. LSU has beaten us 8 straight times, and almost all of them have been totally one-sided blowouts.

OSU on the other hand upset USC two years ago in Corvallis, and almost did it two years prior to that.

Of course I should have prefaced this by saying there's not even a snowball's chance in hell that MSU will win.

Losing team over the invincible. It happens. And that's why many of us do get some hope (probably, of course, misguided) from tonight's result.

But football fans know that some amazing stuff happens on those football fields. We've lost won game and won lost games. What's the record for points scored in under a minute? They might call football players "meats" but fans know that the mental aspect is critical. When State ended Alabama's 27 game winning streak, many State fans missed much of the game, choosing to spend their time more "wisely" than cheering for a hopeless cause.

Not even close. We haven't been competitive with the Tigahs in this century and OSU usually gives USC a tough game, even beating them 2 of the last 3 years.

Completely agree it will be a bigger upset if we beat LSU than Oregon state beaing USC mainly because Oregon state has already beaten them once and 2 we are absolutely 17ing terrible

Well, I know which one would upset ME more. But I'd say USC/OSU. The SEC is always competitive, and any team can surprise you on any given Saturday. The PAC-10, on the other hand, is virtually a one team conference. Plus, USC is awarded the crown by ESPN every year. Until they lose, then ESPN quickly gives the crown to Ohio State. I'm just happy to see a different script this year.
