Whats everyone's take on Dooley not being on the sidelines?

Does it have any effect on the game?

I think the most impact will be felt in preparation Him missing the practice time this week. Coming off a bye week you have to think the game plan has been in and now they are just refining it.

It personally concerns me. I don't think Dooley is a very good coach and if he is "out of the way" that could allow Tenn to play a different brand of ball.

Not a positive for us in my mind.

I certainly don't think it hurts Tennessee to have Dooley removed from practice this week. Who knows, maybe they will play well this weekend and Dooley remains away from the field the rest of the season. As one thread mentioned, is this the weekend where an assistant coach claims the role of the RAT?

First of all, it's too bad the guy had to have hip surgery at his age. Secondly, I'd like to beat them with him on the sidelines as usual...don't want to hear any excuses when we win the game about how they were handicapped, and so forth and so on.

I don't think it will affect the game much at all. TN has said Dooley will still be operating as "normal" with headset from the coaches booth. If anything it will be a positive for us. When the players are looking for direction, or leadership after a bad play, Dooley won't be on the sideline.
