Congratulations to Syracuse and their 3-point marvels, to the remaining Big 12 teams (get as many as possible in the Elite Eight, Final Four and title game) and, most of all, Huggins Heroes for a fanastic, entertaining season despite Oscar the head-case leaving, COVID, few fans in the stands, etc. It helped get your fans through the pandemic isolation, guys. I tip my hat off to my alma mater's basketball team. Now I have a golf tee time for tomorrow to work on my game so that Paula's brother and I can defend our title in the Cuyahoga Falls Brookledge league.

Oscar wasn’t a head case and your description of him is rude and ignorant. What if some fan boy said that about your son. Man did you have a bad weekend on this site.

Oscar was a head case. Poster was correct.

He was unhappy right or wrong. Kids are kids. Some are mature and can handle things better than others. When you’re a 5 star top 25 recruit you expect minutes and room to play your game. I’m not saying that’s ok just saying 5 stars act like 5 stars.

No poster wasn’t right. The poster was a jerk for saying the kid was a head case. Again fanboys calling out 18 yr old players is weird.

Well...the poster was right. Call it any politically correct term you want...but he sure appeared to have a me first team last attitude. Screw the number of stars and call it what it is.

Congratulations to Syracuse for playing a great game and to Coach Boehin for getting his wife pregnant with a fantastic 3-point shooter! Most of us, well done, Huggins Heroes. 9 of 10 losses by 1 to 5 points, including #1 Gonzaga. Really a tough out. Come back next year and, if I'm alive at 88 or 89, make me a happy man by doing with Jerry West couldn't do, win the national title. Jerry did score 38 points against California, WVU lost by 2, and Jerry became the ONLY losing player named MVP! Great entertainment, particularly during the stay-home pandemic!

You're trying too hard, "sportswriter." Your pain is obvious, and, in light of your endless personal attacks and excessive bloviation (even for you) yesterday, I must tell you that your tears are succulent.

I admire your optimism and hope you are around for next season even though you are a bloviating PITA.

Nothing political. Just sad and weird for adults to to call kids names. A “me first” description of him is fair. Calling him a head case is being a jerk. If you don’t think 5 stars act differently than 3 stars you don’t know much about recruiting.

Then, what would you do all day? You can only play the flute so long without your lips getting chapped.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That fat tuba player really did beat you up and take your ugly girlfriends in high school didn't he? Why else so much hate for the band?

Trying coming up with new material....

Makes you look...well...like a dumbass.

You must be replying to band girl again. Is she providing legitimate content, or simply the same boring, lackluster takes? I put her on ignore, and forum is so much better w/o the broken record rhetoric.

1. I always seen the silver lining and not the dark clouds.
2. After playing Big 12 schedule, March Madness isn't that tough.
3. Huggins Heroes have fast, smart hands on defense and have each other's back on offense.
4. Huggins will have a solution for the Syracuse zone.
5. We got this. Relax and enjoy it.
6. Me saying it doesn't jinx my alma mater. The players and Bob are too busy battling Syracuse to read my posts.

Yea------here isHuggins' solution----------have Matthews take almost 2.5 times his normal shot attempt total and the most attempts on the team. Good grief!!!!!!!!!!!!

This latest of TrollVanZandt's 36+ handles might be the dumbest yet, and that's quite an accomplishment.
Believe it or not, paper has been around way before TVZ was. This is just freeboard at par. I’m surprised that you think there couldn’t be more than just 1

It’s very telling when a team loses a guy and there is little emotion. There was even comments made by players in postgame interviews. I’m just leaving it at that

You're exactly right, Pratt. I actually knew that the Paper Boy wasn't TrollVanZandt because he actually used a question mark after he had asked a question. The fake Texas fan has no idea as to what a question mark is, and RichardCranium is clearly one of his alters, as this handle doesn't ever use a question mark, either.

Nope not a head case. Just a lazy spoiled superstar that is overrated and showed it. Maybe Kentucky can straighten him out but I have my doubts.

"Oscar wasn't a head case"? There goes what's left of your credibility.

Doubling down on being rude and obnoxious is a bad look. An old guy like you should know better. A so called sportswriter should know better. A parent should know better. Homer fanboys calling players names or disparaging them personally is disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourself old timer.

You’ll never be in position to judge my credibility old timer. You, on the other hand, are the worst sportswriter in the history of sports haha. Your bias and unprofessional behavior is downright alarming. Have a good day sir and God bless.

Obviously it was time for him to go. I didn’t say it wasn’t time for him to go. I’m not blaming Huggy or anyone. Calling players names is homer fanboy stuff. Your post is appropriate IMO. Old timers post was obnoxious.
