Haven't heard much on him lately and it was mentioned on TD that maybe we had fallen on his list. Also, I'm hearing additional JUCO WR names now. Anybody know anything on him. With Russell back and all of the WRs we lose seems like we would be an ideal spot for a top JUCO WR to go to.

I haven't read anything about us falling on his list...Just a quiet recruitment overall. I know he took his OV to Georgia recently and was very impressed, but have heard nothing to indicate our chances have dropped. It's always been between us, UT, and them.
We are looking at other JUCOs, which IMO means it is unlikely we end up taking DeVante Scott with his knee injuries... maybe have him as invited walk on and once he is "back" put him on scholarship. Not really sure.
Think we take 2, maybe 3, JUCO receivers if we can get the guys we want.

It was just a comment by a random MSU poster on the TD MSU recruiting board so that's what got me curious. I had thought we were in pretty good shape with him but, on the other hand, he still hasn't pulled the trigger so wasn't sure what was going on.
He really is handling his business, taking all his trips, and then is going to make a decision based on depth at WR, the system, and the QB.
Last I read is that we are still in his top 3 and a decision should be coming shortly.
MSU really has been consistant with his recruitment. No one knows what someone else is going to choose, but I believe he will be a bulldog. His type of talent will move him to the front of the depth chart for the deep route threat and Russell can deliver.

we should be signing a minimum of 5 every year.....
assuming there are talented ones out there, which there usually are. and then we should be trying to get high profile transfers as well. 5 total of jucos, transfers, and hargrave type guys. we have to neutralize the talent gap any way we can.
i like the way mullen and co go after projects and place them in juco as well.
