It was the records for the last ten years that were dismissed. It wasn't that all records from the past were declared null and void.

Callahan-Pelini era's even though Callahan was hired for the 2004 season.

" All records from this era are stricken from the record book"
"So it has been written so it shall be done"

Yep. The same time frame epley was absent. Why is this a surprise?
It's a surprise because it is totally idiotic to wipe out records from the time you weren't here and only keep the official weight room records from the days when you are present. One would think Boyd was smarter than that.

I for one am just shocked that Tulsa Tom has chosen today and this topic to make his return. Been absent for the past few weeks when a bunch of optimism and positivity has been coming from the program, but at the first sign of "controversy" he's here right away to give his piping hot takes.

If so there is where I have a problem with this.

Lol. Trollsa loves the performance index, but hates that Epley is using it to recalculate all records because Kenny fricking Bell stuck his foot in his mouth yet again.

Exactly. Perfect thread for him to try to stir the pot. Complete non issue that the AD came out and addressed, but that isn't good enough for him so he has to stir up the bees nest. He's been lurking waiting for something to come up so he can pounce on it.

The tradition coalition is having a hard time with this. Their boy Boyd is the one doing this and they don't know what to think. I think I heard some heads explode today.

Or you could learn to read stuff from LAST DECEMBER. But no, freak out instead.

Know all about Epley said about were we are and he didn't say LAST DECEMBER he was going to stricken records from the past AT THE TIME did he.

You have apparently not got the memo. Epley is the enemy now, and all the players are on roids. Duh KAZ!!!

Nowhere did anybody say records were going to be stricken. Except for Kenny Bell and his IDIOT followers who believe his crap. Seriously. Step back and think how fricking stupid this all is, because the blotards want to ***** about something. This is actually very awesome watching the faces melt from all the people that think they were just wiping everything out. You guys are pure entertainment. Stupidity is fun to watch.

Damn. Next thing you know they are going to give back all the Outland trophies that were steroid tainted and rename the Remington award.

So -- 2 pages in -- basically what has happened is that Kenny Bell had a hissy fit over something without first understanding what the issue was and got some other folks cranked up. Shocked. Hopefully we see an apology tomorrow.

And you fell for it. This whole thread was made to see who the most idiotic, conspiracy theory loving, mouth breathers are. The usual suspects bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Kenny got what Kenny wanted. Mission accomplished.

Ya know, I think Kenny presented himself very well. He said (paraphrased) that he loved the University of Nebraska, and that he loved Nebraska fans. But he wouldn't stand in the background if those guys that have records were removed from the record book. I agree with him, even if those players played under Blo.

That crazy Kenny-Bell-follower Ameer Abdullah. He needs to keep his nose out of his own records. Who cares if they are stricken.

It's easier to freak out and believe that they are just writing out everything they did.
Think about that for a minute. A significant chunk of our fanbase is so paranoid that they actually believe that.

Did they mention how the records would be adjusted? I'm cool with that, if that is what they are doing. It sure is interesting that Boyd is referring to the years he wasn't there though.

I honestly can't tell if Tulsa is paranoid, stupid, a pure contrarian, or just enjoys lecturing people so much that he generally starts wagging his finger before gathering all the facts.

Not sure why it's interesting... It would appear that after he left, different standards were being used. If those standards were subpar (which I haven't the foggiest idea if they were or not) wouldn't you be in favor of reinstating the person whose record was broken but should not have been?

Or just comparing apples to apples?
