Have you guys never met an ole miss person? This makes perfect sense to me. Have you ever tried to tell one of them no? Ever made it clear to them they aren't actually the center of the known universe?
They don't take kindly to it. It apparently never happened to a lot of them growing up, so they don't know how to handle it.
