Well it took two years @AlbanyWildCat but got my Pepsi about a month ago, love it. Have a pretty good relationship with my AD to the point I consider us friends (in a business sense at least)....plus have bought a lot from him and sent some deals his way. Paid off. Had the option on a couple other rares but this is what I’ve wanted for a while.

Now on to the quest for a 16610LV/116610LV/white dial Daytona down the road....

@Get Bucket$ did you ever settle on one? Would love to know.

Congrats...very jealous. My AD wears a Kermit and it looks sweet. Hard to find them for a reasonable price. Share a pic of it on your wrist when you can...its looks awesome

My wife has a Rolex Datejust that she has owned for over 20 years. Last year or so she dropped it and it broke something inside. Took it to Davis and I think the repair was over $1,000.

She banged it again earlier in the year and it messed up but luckily it was under warranty.

Watches are cool but that’s a pricy fix and I know the maintenance is pretty expensive too. She loves her watch though. I just don’t think I could do it

A Maltese/Shih Tzu puppy that's already an infallible little princess.

.. A princess with some serious farts.

And now a Bichon/Pomeranian mix. She's been in heat for like 3 weeks and has ruined two carpets and a few shirts.

If you're wondering, yes, I'm talking about her menstrual blood getting everywhere.

Are you referring to the Smurf? If so, very beautiful. I think there is a stainless steel blue face sub that exists, but I might be wrong. Which one are you referring to.

Unfortunately there isn’t a stainless steel blue sub. There’s a two tone (gold and and stainless). There’s a white gold blue Sub which I *think* is the smurf which is my dream watch.

Nice. Don't see many of those. I've got a GMT Pepsi, had it for 10-12 years. Had it appraised about a year ago for insurance, damn thing has almost tripled in value. They are getting crazy.

They all are going crazy now for the past few years...got my Batman from my AD a few months before Rolex decided to stop making sport watches. My AD even knocked off almost $1K on the cost for being a loyal customer...those days are over. If you get offered certain watches, you only get to say yes and nothing else.

Old school Pepsi and Cokes have always been beautiful. Legendary looking timepieces.

I think the two tone one is called the Bluesy (not my fav) and yes, the white gold with blue face is the Smurf. If you ever see one, try it on, it is a ridiculously heavy watch.

Got a Gibson Firebird guitar. Silverburst in color and plays great. Always liked them - as a young CBS I was a huge Kiss fan and Paul Stanley played one in the 70's.
Love the snap of those pups (they sound like Strats on steroids to me) but ultimately the ergonomics didnt work for me.

Mine was a Kauer- guy in Cali who makes high end Firebird clones... he names them "Banshees":

With all this crap coming down with social distancing and no traveling came on with our Jamaica vacation being cancelled, I said eff it, I’m not staying in the house all the time. At the same time, my son hung up soccer cleats to play football, which is a big expense since he played on a club team. Soooo...within a month, I leased a spot on the lake, bought a 27ft rv travel trailer, a 2020 Ford F 150 and a boat.

Fretboard is a bit thick - reminds me of a tele but I have had no problems with it so far. Definitely very bright and has a unique sound plus it looks like a beast.

Aeroprakt Vixxen - Light Sport - unique plane in that it has short takeoff and landing capability (STOL) but cruises at 115 Knots. Has great visibility for sight seeing. Burns just 4 GPH of autofuel. Made in The Ukraine.

Do you use a parachute when you jump?

Any of you watch guys own an Omega Speedmaster Pro? Thats one of my dream watches, but don’t know if I will ever be in a place to actually own one. A guy can dream though.

One of my other daily wearers is a Omega Seamaster...was a treat to myself for graduating UK with some bonus money I got from my first job. Will gladly trade my other watches, but will never part with this one.

I bought a Kala acoustic electric U-bass. Theyre a ukelele company that also has this line of short scale a/e travel basses. 20" neck, tuner built in, mahogany wood. Arriving today! I wanted something I can just take easily on the road that I can also get volume out of in a variety of settings. Always time to be found to practice. I bought it on a whim, been wanting it for a while, Im hoping the short scale will give it some tonal capabilities akin to a piccolo bass. Get some Stanley Clarke action going [winking]
