When do we lose again?

I've got a feeling it will be either at Tennessee tomorrow night or at Georgia on February 18. I only think we lose 1 more game. Neither of those would be devastating in themselves. I think we can afford two more losses and will still be safe as a #1 seed in Memphis....as long as 1 of the 2 isn't against Kansas. Kansas is a must win for a #1 seed.

Tomorrow is a trap game, do we know the status of Fox? I can't imagine he's going to be at 100% playing like normal. Maybe we rest him.

Tennessee is good at forcing turnovers, and the crowd will be nuts.

I don't think we lose to Kansas though. Kentucky is clicking really well and Kansas is more or less the same team it was at the beginning of the season (maybe worse with front court injuries).

Are losable games. Any loss that you can learn something is a good one. A bad loss is one to a bad team where the guys weren't sticking to the plan and maybe just worrying about stats or Sports Center.

My crew of 8 will be there loud and proud. Hoping to see a lot of bbn down there.

The @ Georgia game seems to be the possible culprit to me.
Tennessee sucks. Hopefully we don't dump one down there.
Not worried about Kansas. We'll take care of them Saturday. Even though they'll get a fairer whistle than we did out there.

I hope we lose one, very close to the tournament. Always feel that is good to refocus the group going into the big dance. My guess is @georgia or in the SEC tourney.

I only don't worry about Kansas simply because it's at home. As far as I'm concerned, seeing how Cal is treated by the NCAA and the abysmal officiating on road games.. I'm inclined to believe that almost every SEC Road game is harder than almost any home game we have. @Florida and @Georgia will be harder games to win than home with Kansas. Heck, I'm even more worried about @Tenn.

I'm like you, Vols are dangerous especially with Fox out. Maybe Monk can do a Jodie Meeks on them......

IF we lose another game during the regular season, it'll most likely be at Florida or at Georgia. I don't think we're losing any games at home, including to Kansas. We could drop a game in the SECT, but I doubt it.

without Fox possibly @UT. If not then Kansas, @Florida, SEC Finals, NCAA Tourney are games and that could be our next loss.

Well hopefully its 21 then.....

But we already have a 7 game winning streak, so if we win out it'd be up to 28.
Maybe i miscalculated:
12 games left on reg sched
02 games in sec tourn
06 games in ncaa

correction. we have to play 3 games in sect even with double buy, right?
my bad.
you're right. i'm wrong.

What's a good loss? No such thing to a competitor. Some losses might not be as bad but none are good to me. People will argue the losses in the SECT in 96 and 12 were good losses but there's no reason to think those teams would not have won the NC if they won the SECT too.

This is correct . I think if we get the game @ UF we ain't losing again and maybe not at all til next season. One more loss on the road wouldn't be a bad thing but it we have had 2 losses and I think usually 2-3 are all you need to iron out kinks.

Yep. I hate losing, but sometimes they can be a positive force in honing a good team.

I fully believe if UK had lost that game in early March at UGA 2 years ago we beat ND and Wisky by 10 pts each and then beat Duke in the finals. We just had gone to long without tasting failure and the preassure of being undefeated just became too heavy . I didn't care at all when we lost to UCLA . I hate losing to UL but the lose itself didn't bother me either.

I get that it's home vs away and it also might be not having Fox vs having Fox but I find it bizarre more people are concerned about the UT game compared to the Kansas one.

We are about a 10 point favorite tomorrow night. Prob a 7 point favorite at home vs KU

This team is becoming a fine tuned engine with turbo boosters and hooker headers:

We will not lose another game.
Willis said he only has one class this semester and can dedicate more time to basketball than ever before.
I said at the start of the season Willis was the X factor to this team and I still believe that.

KU is the only one I see possible. I think we run the table in the SEC this year, our teams to good offensively for others to keep up IMO

I agree with ukfan79. Fellonville is one of the WORST places to play in the SEC! The Cat's have to play eight most of the games played in the orange'st PLACES IN THE WORLD! Heck, a person ( almost) need's sunglasses to see in that orange palace!!!

If Cats get the good Willis he becomes a main ingredient to hang number 9.
The good Willis can give the Cats 12 and 8 the rest of the season.
If that happens fans are going to be celebrating.

Don't discount UT guys, they may be 10-9 but they have played some good teams tough. @unc lost by 2, whisky in Hawaii lost by 12, took Oregon to ot lost by 4 in Hawaii, lost by 10 to zaga on neutral court, lost to Fla by 4 there and SC by 8 at home. Had Ark and Ole Miss down double digits before going cold and losing. We should win easy but it could get hairy if we overlook them and are thinking of Kansas.
