They've been in desperation mode since our win Sat night. The sharks had to pony up and do something.

I wouldn't get too worried about him until signing day. He's on his second school already. I see no reason he honors this one anymore than the first.

Oh no, the sky is falling! We'll be ok in the LB department for quite a while. He can walk in and start at OM, but we may still be able to reel him back in later. Lot of time left.

OM announcing a commitment from top guy

The week after our biggest win in a long time is the least surprising thing I've heard all week.

I heard a clip of Freeze's press conference today on the SEC Network and found it very interesting that he went out of his way to mention that even though he wasn't happy that their bye week came so early in the season, he was happy with the fact that he was able to get some "good recruiting" in. I figured a commitment was coming soon, just thought it would be Patterson and not Lewis.

We're about to put a 2* quarterback turned linebacker in the first round. Before that we had a walk-on with 100 tackles turn down a 5th year of eligibility to be an engineer, and if I'm correct before that we had Emmanuel Gatling. MLB is looking just dandy regardless if we can flip him or not.

Their recruiting in September while we're 4-0 and just beat LSU is not a big concern of mine. Besides, didn't we just get a big verbal?

I think he is referring to Brandon Wilson. Not sure if the tackles number is right nor not but I'm pretty sure he is the LB in question.

Freeze probably kept him up all night

On the phone hot boxing him until he committed by saying just make it stop.

Almost comical how they "feed" their sheep this stuff. State did something good? Natives growing restless? Time to release a commitment.

They love to play the game.

I woudn't worry about this. He's apparently already told two of our commits that he is still open, will still take visits, and that nothing has changed. Read between the lines on this one. Good for Leo

Brandon Wilson is correct. Had a fantastic *redshirt junior* year. Won't ever figure out why he was never a bigger story.

Is that the price to attend the Bama game? The timing of this all shows me that this is not his last stop. Just second heppin.

Leo Lewis is good player, but we just need to sign 2 or 3 good offensive line prospects and I think we can consider our recruiting class pretty well complete and pretty dang good. we need them a lot more than we need linebackers.

meh

I am unconcerned. We're doing well on the field, have our own outstanding recruiting class and recruiting season is far from over.

So? We'll just move on to our next target and turn him into a better player. Recruiting is the last thing I'm going to spend a second worrying about.

No doubt.

LB is the LAST position I'm worried about on our team. It would be great to have him, though. Also, this cat's recruitment is in no way over with.

Current staff's players playing in the NFL (LBs, only): White, Skinner, Wright, Chaney, Lawrence, and we've got more than 2 or 3 that will be in the future.

You need to click that appeal button and lets play some 3.5 doubles. We'll kick ***. It was pretty fun last night going up against a 4.5 guy & the 3.0 has been winning matches at 3.5. I thought we competed with them pretty good, even though we were a little outclassed.

Shouldn't really surprise anyone. I think too much stock was put in the fact that he publicly(stressing this part) decommitted at your camp. Since then, he has unofficially visited Ole Miss 6 times compared to 1(?) for State. He is really close to Benito Jones, a 2016 commitment from Waynesboro and they rode together every visit.

Still a while til February though.

OM does some of their best recruiting while they are at home and we are off getting a big win out of state. OM racked up while they were at home recruiting a few years ago and we were off thrashing Michigan in the Gator Bowl.
