Docu-Series on the Central Park 5. Extremely hard to watch, but a great depiction of what happened. Worth it in the end....but still a rough watch.

Do you watch anything that doesnt have the white devil?
TIA
You may not like that **** like this IS A REALITY, A HORROR MOVIE for people who are black even today, but that doesn't change the fact that this is true.... and it continues to happen today.
What in the world....

Sean, I think what Phatty is trying to say is that the Paddock liked you better when you weren't on a soapbox preaching and cramming racial injustice threads down our throats. You may not like that **** like this IS A REALITY, A HORROR MOVIE ...
Thank you, for showing your idiocy. Happens to people, all people, all the time. Brendan Dassey says hello.
Huh? The fact you would frame a docu-series on one of the most impactful cases on juvenile law as me just wanting to watch the "white devil" is moronic. 5 kids.... 5 freaking kids were locked up for 18 hours being assaulted, berated, coerced and traumatized without council, without their parents present. They were then convicted of a crime that contained absolutely no physical evidenced and ultimately spent 5-13 years locked up for something they did not do. Four attempted to appeal and lost. Then they got to split a freaking 45 million dollar settlement 5 ways which is nowhere near enough for one of the largest miscarriages of justice this country have ever seen. I don't give a damn about their color, but somehow it seems par for the course they were black and this happened. So sit down and shut up you incompetent ***. You may not like that **** like this IS A REALITY, A HORROR MOVIE for people who are black even today, but that doesn't change the fact that this is true.... and it continues to happen today.
Nice try, racist.
Angry and stupid is no way to go through life son.
So I am stupid because of what? Calling a broken, prejudicial system out? Its a fault to be angry with injustice? I tell you this board is full of some of the dumbest people ---- and that most definitely does not include myself.

Nobody is disputing that it was a horrible miscarriage of justice -- but that's All. You. Do. Dude you are Jan Brady, except instead of "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha" you whine, "Racial injustice, racial injustice, racial injustice." Geez man, give it a break already. If you get defensive or angry over me claiming and showing the injustice of the Central Park Five case----Watch the show. Then come on here and tell me where I am wrong...

That is a you problem---- not a me problem.
Watch the show. Then come on here and tell me where I am wrong...
The may have been ( i do not know), but the did not commit the murder they where convicted of.
A roaming group of more than 30 youths between the ages of 13 and 17 were suspected of assaulting other joggers, throwing rocks at bicyclists and harassing an elderly homeless man.
Were those kids not part of the group of 30 kids that were attacking joggers and beating up homeless people in Central Park?
In the 80s it was called wilding. They were innocent of rape and should not have been convicted of rape. They were guilty of other things. A horde of people ganging up and beating up innocent bystanders is not something to shed tears about 30 years later.
So Sean, I take it you were there? This is completely false. They were innocent of rape and every other charge. If they were guilty of any of the assaults there would have been a multitude of evidence present. Bruised Knuckles, Fingerprints, Blood, Mud on their jeans, eyewitness testimony, people would have been able to identify their assailants and much much more. These kids didn't do ****. Again the threshold is REASONABLE DOUBT. There were **** tons of reasonable doubt and again, absolutely no physical evidence. The timeline even had to be manipulated. Casey Anthony goes free yet somehow these kids get pinned for charges for "being part of a crowd". That is not how the law or the justice system works.
So Sean, I take it you were there?
They're running with a horde but yet they didn't do anything. I guess they just watched all those other guys beat up people up huh?
Hey Sean, you're an idiot.
How do feel about the black guy that threw the 5 year old white kid over the balcony in Minnesota at the mall just because the kid was white?
Does that racist kind of act draw your ire? He was also Muslim I believe.
I can imagine the outrage and publicity this would have gotten had it been a white guy that threw a 5 year old black kid over the balcony. Hypocrisy in media is to the point nobody believes them at all. I sure dont.
Do you understand how the Justice System works. The fact you say "black kids running in a horde" equated to them all being guilty of criminal acts shows your own racist bias. I know that on the charges of ASsault, Robbery, Riot, Rape, Sexual Abuse, and Attempted Murder that Antron McCray, Yusef Salaam, Korey Wise, Kevin Richardson and Raymond Santana there was not a shred of PHYSICAL EVIDENCE outside of coerced confessions that implicated them in any way. I know that the 3 victims of the assaults were deposed, sat in court and said their perpetrator was NOT sitting in the court-room. They literally had not 1, not 2, but 3 eye witnesses that stated they WERE NOT the kids who did those things. They were exonerated on all charges. ALL.
You are right. I was not there. But 3 of the victims sat in a court room and said those were not the kids that inflicted harm on others----yet they paid for something they did not do for 5-13 years.
Sit the F*$# down with you innately racist and inaccurate sentiment of "well they were in the park with those other kids and they black so THEY GOT TO BE GUILTY OF SOMETHING." That is PRECISELY what lead to this injustice in the first place you clown and POS human being.
Yet somehow--- I am the idiot? GTFOH

You're wasting your breath. I'm guilty of that on here as well, at times.
Even IF they stomped someone out in that group (not proven, no evidence, etc), they still didn't deserve to be railroaded by the cops into years of prison for something they were/are innocent of.
They were with them, yes, but simply being "with" a group of which some did bad things does not implicate all.
