Probably wouldn’t in isolation and would try to avoid long or high buyout contracts.
If I was AD, I’d want a sense of ROI in Women’s BB if there’s data out there, impact on WBB performance on overall status in the conference (eg, if you’re by far the worst team in WBB and other sports, does it make you a target for getting dropped by the conference), donor/booster preference (eg, if you’re by far have major boosters who care about it, may need to make them happy). If it didn’t have major non-WBB impacts, I wouldn’t see myself putting money together to fire someone
