Still proud of Cherokee despite going through a rough patch. I wish the SMC showed some pride this year, I know it was a down year but every conference has one every now and then
Swain's nonconference schedule is going to cost them big-time come the playoffs. Not that they're likely to challenge for state this year... but with some more home games, they could potentially go a game or two deeper in the playoffs. After tonight, it's looking like we're down to Swain and Murphy for the conference championship, but you never know... look at the rest of WNC. 
But whatever the ultimate result, I know the Devils are going to give "our best, and then some" (the school motto). Can't ask for more than that.

I've been more lurking lately. It was good to see the Devils in old form last night. Running the ball with hunger and the defense finally getting into the backfield was a plus. Need to clean up the onside kick stuff after losing 2 of them, but I think that was an outlier. I'm sure the boys were happy to not be playing a 3A school too!
Still here looking forward to next week. Surprised at rville and Murphy score our score doesn't look so bad now lol. This off week couldn't come at a better time for the Braves
