I'd love to see that data going back ten years. Have we and our counterparts done a better job in recent years keeping talent in state?

It's gotten much better the last 5-6 years. Maybe about 2 per year get away that MSU or UM actually offer, but they don't have a lot of success (see guys like Chaz Ramsey, Alonzo Lawrence, Andre Wadley, Rod Woodson, Chris Garrett, Jeremy Liggins, D'Arthur Cowen). Those guys were all highly recruited 3 or 4 star players that never did anything - some due to injuries, others couldn't stay in school or just plain sucked.

It's amazing when you do some research... how so many that leave the state are never heard from again. Whitehead, Kevin Norwood, and Anthony Steen have probably been the biggest losses since Mullen was hired. Could maybe also throw in Jamie Collins who signed with USM (I don't know if MSU or UM offered him).
