Where I sit, most folks ring responsibly.

I know that hear cowbells throughout the ball game. But for the most part, most people are following the rules. I think these cowbell fines are total horse-sh*t. It is impossible to be in perfect compliance with these rules with 56,000 fans. Who is policing this? Is there a cowbell investigator? How many unresponsible ringers does it take to elicit a violation? I am going to have to agree that this is just a big set up and the SEC is going through the motions to ban the bell once and for all. Slive had no intentions of letting us ring past this year.

about ten rows up from the entrance on the 50 yard line, so I can see almost the entire west side below me.

There are maybe a thousand (2 thousand?) people who do not ring responsibly. I can't say how the third of the west side that sit above me act.

Thousands of folks ignore the ringing rules. I don't bring a cowbell because if I had one and someone was on the five yard line (either end) I'd ring the heck out of it, rules or not, and I appreciate the fact that doing that costs the athletic dept. thousands of dollars and will cost them even more in the future.

We are a doomed to hell alumni group. We'd walk a mile on a hot day to sin when we could sit down in the shade of righteousness.
