I know we have fans who don’t like us to call out players but Paul deserves it tonight. Cost us the game
Generally yes but not if a player is better than you but sitting on the bench. Simpson just scored 16 fing pts to win us a game and was playing well on both ends of the court tonight but being taken out to keep an underwhelming senior happy even though he has been playing poorly and not playing up to starter production. This isn’t rocket science.
Paul needs to come off the bench and Simpson needs to start plain and simple. Love Pike but that loss was squarely on him and will likely cost RU the NCAAs. Minnesota is probably the worst P5 basketball team there is.

We scored 74 points but allowed 15 in the last minute. That’s almost impossible to believe.
Having 2 good games all year doesn’t get you the benefit of the doubt and extra PT when you aren’t having a good game
It does when the current PG is struggling mightily. Mulcahy had 2 more points and 2 more assists than Simpson and played 23 more minutes than him. His defense was not great either. It’s not enough production from the PG spot.
Averaging 5 points in 33 minutes over the 7 games since MSU. Just not good enough.
Throughout the whole game not just the end and one of the things that have not seen mentioned is he let his man get the put back at the end of the game because Paul does what he does best watches the ball and leaves his man and this is his history of how he plays defense and well the rest forget he just flatout sucked
